Greekman,
It's the actual tortilla thay have been testing NOT the stanelco wrap which is for burgers!
Sorry about that!
Let's hope tomorrow signals a bright future

Gonna become a farmer, Driver.
I have that many pigs at the moment, an EU subsidy is my only chance of a profit!!
Anyway. At least SEO can release the results now I'm back. Sorry to have kept you all waiting.

Pinnacle,
It does say "tested the wrap for six months". Have you anywhere I can find clarification, that the testing was for the contents, ie the tortilla's. Remember it is only just over 6 months that they announces the landmark co-operation deal with Perseco and their (Perseco's) most notable successes have resulted from their long-standing role as packaging and supply chain coordinator for the world's largest restaurant system, McDonald's.
Also on the 25th May last, WRAP 100 received US FDA approval.
What with these two indicators and the delay in the interims being released, it looks too much like a coincidence.
Obviously the above is conjecture on my part.

From a TA perspective 8p support has now been breached. Next support level is 6p. If the Interims do not contain some good news tomorrow, that's where it's going and probably 4p thereafter. If the Dow has another bad day today, the FTSE will probably follow suit tomorrow and any good SEO news may well be lost in bearish sentiment.

Greekman,
A tortilla wrap is a food item - the article states that this item has been on trial.
The word wrap is what is confusing - wrap for stanelco is the item used to wrap the burger - a tortilla wrap - the wrap here is a food item that wraps the product inside, nothing to do with stanelco I believe.
I like your reasoning but it's just coincidence.
Does anyone know why today there are more purchases than sales and yet the price goes down!!

I agree that the market will be effected by the Dows close, but unless the world blows up (not beyond belief now days) the SEO price will rest on the results. At least the guess work will be over tomorrow. I think there will only be two outcomes. A good set of results showing real hard nosed progress (contracts) or a bad set. If it's neutral, I think we will all treat it as bad. So in my opinion, it is make or break time.
Pinnacle,
Re the sp drop, I think it's just following the bad slide on the day of the market, plus the currant price of the Dow.

Perhaps, the directors are selling behind the scenes.
The amount maybe be announced later.

Biscuit,
Yes a good point, re the late updating on the website.

I think its quite obvious that they were not testing an actual wrap like SEO's greekman but a food item and trialing it to see if people liked the taste before comercially sending them out.
However, Tortilla wraps do need wraps like SEO's and so maybe...

Results neutral on first look. Promising well for the future but nothing concrete. Still a believer in the products, but I feel the majority of private investors will loose heart. Disappointing.

No mention of the trial with the major fast food restaurant

At least if you look at the 'Holders in Company' releases yesterday, they obviously have faith, with 75,438,400 shares acquired.
But as you say no additional trials mentioned.

Thats a frightening rate of cash burn for the six months! Looks like they will need another fund raising a this rate :-(

Morning everyone,
Well more of the same with one little problem.
The consideration of its funding requirements!!
All well and good if you have the revenue stream from the products you have the patents for.
They must be carefull how they do this - one chance only.
We are all going to be tapped for more - I don't mind if they get deals signed.
Quite right on the wrap - but consider this.
Why the wait for these results - there is nothing here that could not have been stated three weeks ago.
I think they have been waiting for a contract and run out of time.
thoughts everyone?

Morning Pinnacle and all,
I agree with all your views, nothing more to say. Perhaps I like many had built my hopes up a tad too much.

Yeah but also could have been due to the fact that they were preparing the accounts under the IFRS Standard and the new FD wanted to get them right, think overall these interims are very dissapointing and certainly weren't worth the wait.

Another fund raising is going to be required to keep the company going, the Results say as much. Nothing new re contracts, 6p next stop I'm afraid :-(
