Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

Nice to see favourable buys to sells with increasing SP. The company should come good and stay good. Huge potentials the only problem is it is aim and with SEO it is going to give me CGT problems, (I hate paper work), Although I have some in Sipps not enough cash to buy more.
I agree should see 100p fairly soon.

Hello, folk. Took out a CFD this morning for 24K: from the margin on S*O! Have to say B**G as its considered a swear word on the S*O site! My friend and mentor, johngtudor, holds both so reckoned I could do worse than emulate him. Don't see BPRG moving as rapidly as the aforesaid, but I was impressed by the website statement implying that BPRG are playing it long and not seeking short-term advantage. Also, that the reason for taking the S*O cc so seriously is to put a warning shot across the bows of copmpetition on both sides of the Atlantic. May be more of a problem over there. look on the investment as medium term - in other words, put it aside for a year or so.

Just got interested in MICAP.Shares seem fairly valued...no profit last year. For those who follow BPRG and SEO,this encapsulation technique MICAPtm has many interesting applications, especially in the decontamination of catheters, thereby helping to cut back the incidences of bladder infections .The company is also involved with natural alternatives to conventional treatments for MSA,thrush,Athletes Foot, irritable bowel syndrome and gingivitis. It is down 93% on the year.Loss last year.March results?Turnover 0.9 Profit-O.851.Momentum up steadily ,S.ADVFN user sentiment BUY 63.64%Looks interesting if it van go through 30p which it might try twice.Target 50p Priced at 60p on IPO.Small company, valued at 7.93mill.sterling.Why does'nt someone start a new thread on this one,I'm sure we can get the price moving in the right direction.MIC deserves a bit of attention and then maybe it will be encouraged to keep us regularly informed of its trials and progress, just like Bioprogress has been doing these past few days!!!!.Thanks for the info,JohnGT

Agree MICAP looks very attractive at these levels and have bought a few recently. When the long-awaited deal with BPRG comes it should have more of an impact on MICAP owing to it's piddling market cap.

Well new Non-Executive Directors appointed. Good news but how much influence will they have on the driven CEO? New patents that could lead to products being distributed in BPRG's new capsule wrapping and now this...according to the WSJ Bioprogresss products will be on sale in about two weeks time in China marketed through the Sunkist brand via AXM Pharma. Thought followers of the stock would like to know that events are moving forward regardless of SP falls etc. jgt

Dear Johng you missed me by half an hour,as I sold in panic ,losing half the glorious profit that I had gained by Monday.Later today saw the 50k boys coming back in.The problem for me is that I pay my broker 5% which stops me making profit on small price rises, especially with a 3p spread.I shall wait for excitng news and then back in...this has a long way to go.Why did'nt this thread take off.....all the attention went to SEO.

Ethel
Why are you paying a broker 5% when you can do it yourself on line. I pay 11.95 per transaction.

With all due respect you really need to get a new broker. 5% has been criminal for about a decade!!!!!!!
As for BPRG, current levels must hold IMO.

ethel, forget about a broker that rips you off.. this game is difficult enough without brokers loading the dice the wrong way even further!
There are a lot of brokers around that charge much less than 20 for any size trade.

Learn't me lesson.Thankyou for all your indignation,I shall act on it.I have paid the family broker(inherited with mother's shares)thoooooousands of pounds over the last three years.Which is easier,ComDirect or Ample?

Comdirect is good so are their online news Charts and watchlists. Deal 12.5 Management fees small. Also has stop losses. Barclays deals at 12 and for frequent deals at 7.50. Online research has improved immensely. Has good research facilities but I think poor Charting. Seem to have cocked up a few things for me, Stop losses on 350, Staff try to be helpful and pleasant. I wish they had a more complete transaction printout. I think expensive management fees. Bu finding it difficult to extract myself and transfer

Have a look at the 'share centre' at www.share.com as little as 2.50 a deal, average around 7.50. Great web site and deals done in seconds(on-line or phone), simple to navigate and very few problems (ive had none). Easy to top up on bprg then, happy hunting.

Also recommend the share centre, 1% or 2.50min to buy batch or 7.50 instant.
Sells 7.50. Quick efficient and deals done in seconds. The one downside is unable to real-time trade until after 8.15am or after 4.15pm.
You can set-it up in 24hours and your off and running.

ethel, I use ComDirect and wont hear a word said against them - well not many anyway. You can set up electronic trades to buy/sell if a stock reaches a certain price whci usually works faultlessly.
