Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I wonder how many MP's past and present have paid tradesmen cash in hand for a discount and then still claimed the full amount on their expenses.
Recent ruling...........MPs' expenses receipts to stay secret, IPSA rules.
Also I think that if the expense claim is below £100 (may be less than that, not sure) they do not even have to prove the expense.
So much for accountability!
Hypocritical b******s!

If a government is seen to be corrupt or rotten, as ours appears to be, the morality percolates down through society.
Hiding cash in over seas is an example of this tainted behaviour. Those who go along with it are tainted by the same brush.

I would expect UK to be an integrated member of the Euro-zone within 20-25 years, unless Europe rejects us. (The euro will be the common currency.)

The Euro has been a terrible experiment. Europe got things in the wrong order. They needed closer political and fiscal ties before a common currency. The Euro was championed by the French as they thought it would stop Germany from dominating. How wrong they were.

Home Secretary Theresa May today admitted that she had grave doubts about G4S’s ability to keep non-McDonald’s potato products from entering the Olympic Park during the Games.

That's certainly not as bad as buying adult films using tax payers' money though!
That was not Theresa May , it was a Labour Minister can't remember her name off hand

Jacqui Smith under pressure over husband's adult film expense claims
Jacqui Smith, the Home Secretary, faces serious questions over her political future following the humiliating admission that she claimed taxpayer-funded allowances for the cost of watching pornographic films at her family home.

It was the Labour minister Jacqui Smith's husband who rented porno films on her expenses. The title of one of them indicated that it was a gay bondage film. She was Home Secretary at the time. Sir Alistair Graham, the former Chairman of the Committee on Standards in Public Life was critical of her actions stating that naming her sister's spare bedroom as her main home was "near fraudulent". She lost her seat in 2010 thankfully.
In December 2008, her husband was discovered to have written a series of letters praising the work of Jacqui Smith which were sent to newspapers; however, he had failed to disclose that he was her husband and managing her constituency office.
Just a typical pair of Labour activists.

Have you just been allowed out of the funny farm.
Suggest you check the accounts of some of your favourite idols.

This lot of tories can't even fiddle their accounts properly. They are a disaster.

Unlike your poor self I have no political affiliations, I just happen to find your daily uninformed radical rants nauseating.
Like all radicals you marginalise yourself to a point where you become a figure of fun, albeit I see only sadness not humour. I guess you were bullied at school?

Once again the media have got it wrong 'G4S’s ability to keep non-McDonald’s potato products from entering the Olympic Park during the Games'.
It has now been admitted that a group of Al Qaeda that were being tracked by MI5 and the Metropolitan Anti Terrorist Squad had been observed trying to enter the Olympic Arena.
It was believed that they were trying to infiltrate themselves as part of the opening ceremony band display team.
Four of the five suspected terrorists were carrying components that when assembled would great an explosive device. These components were hidden in props (musical instrument cases) similar to those being carried by the genuine team display band members.
The fifth suspected terrorist who was acting as a decoy, was openly carrying a takeaway from Burger King and a large bottle of Pepsi.
Several G4 security trained staff, promptly detained the decoy whilst as part of their 'be friendly and smile to Olympic visitor' strategy, other G4 members assisted the other four to carry their prop into the main stage area.
The decoy terrorist is appearing at a special 'Olympics Court' charged with the offence of 'attempt smuggling of a none sponsored product into a specified event', an offence which carries an unlimited fine and a maximum term of 10 years imprisonment.
The four remaining Al Qaeda members were also detained but only after genuine members of the display band realised that apart from not being able to play a single note, when practise started all four had there backs to the conductor, and had started to bow down chanting 'Allahu Akbar'.
It is believed that the decoy terrorist is to be dealt with under emergency powers within 24 hours.
The four carrying explosive components are expected to appear in court early next year and are being released on bail.
It is believed they will then receive community service and on recommendation of deportment, will win on appeal and be allowed to remain in the UK.
The fifth terrorist is expected to be sentenced to the full 10 years (an example has to be made) and then be deported without right of appeal.
A G4 spokesman stated that a serious incident had been prevented, as if the 'Burger King incident had been allowed to go un-punished, it would have set a president and that an example had been made.
Nick Buckles G4's CEO told the BBC that, 'This incident has shown that G4 staff are well trained and on the ball and that this was an example of G4's expertise.
It is believed that he will pay himself a bonus of several million pound.

Chuckles,
Thank you for your opinion and conclusions.
It would appear to me that Cameron and Osborne are being "marginalised", by what may be thought of as, the right wing "press" and “media”, as well as, the Euro-phobics within the tory party.
Many of my posts point to information from those and other "news outlets", which if you have the necessary literacy you may be able and understand. Perhaps, that may be a bridge to far for you, but it could be your achievement for the week.
As far as being bullied at school, from memory it seems possible that a few may have attempted to do so on one or two occasions, but it you knew more of me you would realise that such attempts would have been short lived. Again, the school which I attended would not have tolerated the behaviour. (How about yours?)
But you are correct on one thing; I dislike intensely bullying behaviour and tactics.
From observations of Flashman, it seems to be rife within the Etonian elitist hierarchy, who are "driving" this country to the "dogs".
Again, I wonder who is out of touch with the majority of the British public and mainstream economists.
=======
As far as my grandchildren and my own children are concerned, they are able to argue and debate without rancour, to form their own opinions and are able to make valid decisions based on those processes. They don't appear to be suffering from the degree of “indoctrination”, which you seem to me, to be exhibiting.
------------
Have a better week, next week.

Just for your pleasure!
"Italian and Spanish bonds surged on Thursday after the President of the European Central Bank (ECB), Mario Draghi, said the bank would do “whatever it takes to preserve the euro...and believe me, it will be big enough”. This is the clearest indication yet the ECB may be prepared to buy the debt of under pressure Eurozone countries in order to drive down yields.
Speaking in London, he said: "To the extent that the size of the sovereign premia hamper the functioning of the monetary policy transmission channels, they come within our mandate."
