Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

stockbunny - 14 Aug 2007 16:59 - 17793 of 24230

Smarties they do sell them - hexagional tubes if you follow me but they do still exist! Hit the local supermarket - tesco etc - and buy a multi-pack JS

JStratford - 14 Aug 2007 17:09 - 17794 of 24230

Thanks Bunny... Didn't realise we'd gone to hexagonal smarties. Perhaps that was where I was going wrong. Have tried the local supermarkets... obviously no demand round here :-(

Spaceman - 14 Aug 2007 22:38 - 17795 of 24230

I love smarties but not the ones in France they taste horrid.

optomistic - 14 Aug 2007 23:40 - 17796 of 24230

You don't know what's in those French Smarties!

Bluelady - 15 Aug 2007 00:33 - 17797 of 24230

J Stratford, found the picture of the said smartie tube (the bottom one) which you can show the shop assistant when you go shopping.

Why the sudden interest in buying tubes of smarties?

Socrates - 15 Aug 2007 08:18 - 17798 of 24230

I'd prefer a cup of tea.

cobber - 15 Aug 2007 08:50 - 17799 of 24230

Hi Stratford

You get the very small boxes of smarties in multipacks and are yummy.

Problem is that you eat too many boxes before your craving is fullfilled!

Bluelady - 15 Aug 2007 08:58 - 17800 of 24230

Good morning Socrates and cobber......a mug of hot tea winging itself to you both.

Cobber, You eat Smarties!!!

cobber - 15 Aug 2007 09:10 - 17801 of 24230

Love them!

Socrates - 15 Aug 2007 09:17 - 17802 of 24230

I agree Bluelady, I never eat the boxes either. Good idea for anti-litter, edible boxes!

More tea vicar?

Bluelady - 15 Aug 2007 09:21 - 17803 of 24230

LOL, some nutritionists say the cereal box is nutritionally better for us than certain cereals.

Is that your new job Socrates ,being a vicar so that you can indulge in cream cakes and cups of teas given by your appreciative parishoners?

stockbunny - 15 Aug 2007 09:21 - 17804 of 24230

Morning I don't answer to vicar but I'd love a cuppa ;>)

cobber - 15 Aug 2007 09:24 - 17805 of 24230

To the woods, to the woods said the vicar. I am the vicar!

Two sugars in mine please.

JStratford - 15 Aug 2007 09:38 - 17806 of 24230

Morning all. Mad as normal in here, and if anyone thinks I answer to vicar... then we've got problems.

Bluey, the sudden interest in smarties stems from the sudden interest in someone who is interested in smarties - make sense? ;-)

Bluelady - 15 Aug 2007 10:05 - 17807 of 24230

Of course J Stratford that makes complete sense.....your non-girlfriend who you acquired very recently....or...your three year old child who you never knew you had until recently ;0).

optomistic - 15 Aug 2007 10:07 - 17808 of 24230

Morning Blue, don't some people have 'interesting' lives :-)

Bluelady - 15 Aug 2007 10:09 - 17809 of 24230

Morning optomistc, LOL. Would you like a pot of tea?

Socrates - 15 Aug 2007 10:10 - 17810 of 24230

The Chinese curse rears its head once more:

"May you live in interesting times".

Bluelady - 15 Aug 2007 10:16 - 17811 of 24230

Socrates, I am probably going to regret asking you this, but you said I should live dangerously.......please explain why it's a Chinese curse to live in interesting times?

optomistic - 15 Aug 2007 10:21 - 17812 of 24230

Blue what a lovely idea, one sweetener and milk please.
