WELCOME TO AM, Come In And Say Hello Thread (£AM)

Mr Ashley James - 23 Jan 2003 11:36

Dear all,

Many posters come to a new website for the first time for a look around and lurk, ie do not post, just to familiarise themselves with the set up etc.

I thought we could do with a thread where people who have just arrived could come in say hello, ask questions, talk to the locals, but most importantly say they were here and say hello to everybody.

So when you arrive please say Hi or just Bog Off Ash

Best regards

Ashley

Mr Ashley James - 10 Feb 2003 15:14 - 184 of 227

LOL!

Slacker - 11 Feb 2003 10:27 - 185 of 227

The investors room is becoming a bit of a joke
Most of the postings appear to be made by the same person using multiple aliases

Ash - 11 Feb 2003 10:33 - 186 of 227

Slacker,

Which poster?

I have two log ins Mr Ashley James and now Ash, because MoneyAM automatically considered I would use my old ADVFN username, which far too long and dominates bb IMHO.

I have read one thread where I suspect a user is using two log ons to talk to themselves.

Which poster are you referring to?

Cheers

Ash

Slacker - 11 Feb 2003 10:38 - 187 of 227

Ash, no not referring to you, and i'm not going to name names because as with such things i cant be 100% sure, which is why I used the word 'appear' in my first posting.
Would be nice if MoneyAM could clamp down on this sort of thing from the start.

Ash - 11 Feb 2003 10:40 - 188 of 227

Slacker,

I think everyone on this thread is a real separate poster, many I know from ADVFN.

Only double poster is me (as explained above) IMHO.

Cheers

Ash

Slacker - 11 Feb 2003 10:42 - 189 of 227

i,m not talking about this thread Ash

Ash - 11 Feb 2003 10:44 - 190 of 227

Moneylender - 11 Feb 2003 10:48 - 191 of 227

Ash - 11 Feb 2003 14:27 - 192 of 227

Moneylender,

I think you may have missread/missunderstood Slacker's comment, but if you follow ADVFN multiple log on issues you should be able to guess who Slacker may have been referring to.

Slacker am I on the right track?

Cheers

Ash

Moneylender - 11 Feb 2003 16:03 - 193 of 227

Ashley

Not sure I did.

Having been accused of being someone else before, i do not agree with multiple aliases.

HI! I have just joined Money AM and have a question for anyone who would care to answer;
Can anyone recommend a good live charting software that works well, is very accurate, and easy to use, ie buy and sell signals?

agent007 - 13 Feb 2003 11:40 - 195 of 227

Hi all. Just making my first return visit here since launch day, to see wassup with the level II. Anyone using it got any comments, in particular does it lack any features or suffer any problems compared to the other place's? Also, does anyone know if there's a good USA Traders thread on the PBB here? Thanks! a7

Kayak - 13 Feb 2003 11:51 - 196 of 227

agent007, usa traders' thread has 1913 posts...

agent007 - 13 Feb 2003 12:14 - 197 of 227

Thanks Kayak, erm, could be ~half as lively as the other place then, depending on when it started! a7 :)
