J Stratford, knowing that cobber is an adult and you are also one does actually surprise me that there are at least two adults who like smarties enough to buy/eat them......however, I was more interested in knowing why you suddenly had a partiality in buying/eating smarties ;0)

Lunch anyone?
Bluey.. I'm not interested in eating smarties per se - only in buying them. And no I haven't got a three year old I don't know about.. at least not as far as I know ;-)

J Stratford, you can get a packet of 5 tubes of smarties for 1/1.50 from any supermarket. Tescos are doing a special promotion 3 for 3 at the moment. Just let me know where you live, I'll deliver them myself? Actually that is the reason why I wrote buying/eating as you never implied you wanted to eat them.
I prefer ferrero rocher myself but each to their own taste in chocolate ;0).

Sardines I've got... in brine, sunflower oil or tomotoe sauce?
Bluey... you'd be amazed at how many supermarkets / corner shops / fuel stations I've been in. I couldn't even find mint imperiels in my local Asda over the last couple of weeks. No demand I keep getting told.

No demand, lol, it probably is the other way round, the stock that they did have in has quickly sold out due to the overwhelming demand for them.

Or possible they can't make any money on them... better to fill the shelves with fancy chocolates that they can mark up hugely.

Could be true J Stratford but I still know which one I prefer to eat ;0).

JStratford, sardines in brine for me please on toast with a splatter of vinegar and pepper.
Bluelady, you have rather posh taste in chocalate! Good old kit kat and smarties for me.

Cobber, I like kit kats, perhaps you would like one too?
J Stratford, it's a good job that Keaydian isn't one as he would never fit in the hexagonal tube...come to think of it neither would I ;0).
