Don't forget that the MMs took in stock Friday and yesterday. They will want to put the price up to encourage some buyers to take the stock off their hands.

hewittalan6 - 18 Jul 2006 14:20 - 17848 of 27111

Just cos I hate to let go of an analogy, does that mean the MM's are hoovering up all the spare cash or is it just money laundering???

Haystack - 18 Jul 2006 14:26 - 17849 of 27111

You could say that there is too much 'spin' with SEO. Just be careful the MMs don't hang you out to dry. The current fall may just be a 'softner' before they take the shirt off your back.

hewittalan6 - 18 Jul 2006 14:28 - 17850 of 27111

SEO may have been over hyped, but you must admit. The hype has been beautifully packaged.
Getting saddle sore...........but still riding into the sunset.

This may help! Although I am notsure what this means: -
"Features 'O' zone comfort groove"

http://www.aldi.co.uk/special_buys/product_2917.html

Add an instant, extra dimension of comfort to your saddle for a more comfortable ride.

Features 'O' zone comfort groove
Anti-slip backing
Drawstring fastening
Styles: mountain, city, exercise
Take the cover to the gym for a more comfortable workout

Haystack - 18 Jul 2006 14:35 - 17852 of 27111

Price dropping again. The MMs may be saying "on yer bike!"

hewittalan6 - 18 Jul 2006 14:36 - 17853 of 27111

I had one of those.
I took it to the gym for a more comfortable workout.
After that I took it for a pizza, then we went to the cinema.
It never worked out of course because it grew jealous of the handlebars and all the time I spent carressing them.

markusantonius - 18 Jul 2006 15:00 - 17854 of 27111

Bargain sp right now for those with courage and plenty of spare, long-term cash (which I do not have, btw!)...............?

oblomov - 18 Jul 2006 15:10 - 17855 of 27111

A bounce back at 13%? A real bounce back needs to be nearer 500%!

Haystack - 18 Jul 2006 15:10 - 17856 of 27111

They had 292k cash as at end April. How much is left? At their prevous burn rate then nothing. They must have reduced their cash burn rate somewhat, but to what. There has to be some cash raisng news imminent.

pinnacle - 18 Jul 2006 15:33 - 17857 of 27111

Well there's no chance of this share being talked up by the mysterious haystack is there!!

The placing will take them to the end of the year - good news will be forthcoming soon.

If there is a rights issue then take advantage to avoid your holding been diluted or sell your rights to someone else!

The Haystack voice of doom is not as wise as you would think - do you really think Howard white is going to let the company fall when he is the main shareholder - I think not.

soul traders - 18 Jul 2006 15:54 - 17858 of 27111

Markusantonius, my reaction on seeing this morning's bounce on T/O of around 600,000 shares by 11:00 was that it could be easily explicable by short covering :o)

Alan, great one about the gym visit; I'd have posted something similar but you beat me to it.

Haystack - 18 Jul 2006 15:58 - 17859 of 27111

I don't think the company will fail, but I expect more dilution.

Haystack isn't that mysterious.

Wal-Mart works on its image

Wal-Mart has hired a former nun and international conflict negotiator to make the retail giant a more sensitive company. , Mr Haystack 65, will steer the company's policies on the environment, health care, and labor relations. A spokesman for one of the company's loudest critics, Wake Up Wal-Mart, said the hire was good news if it meant that Wal-Mart believes "that it must now do better" at providing better wages and health care for its workers.

There are lots of males who get nun!

I am now very concerned as to what is going on with G/S. I e-mailed investor relations last Friday, got a response saying they can't comment on G/S so e-mailed again with more specific questions (below) and followed up with a phone call Tuesday. The latest response still gives no answers to very clear questions. When I questioned Sylvia she didn't seem to know much about what was going so said she would speak to a director who would give me a call. As you've probably guessed I never got such a call. The reason I was given for very little update on G/S in the interims was that SEO didn't want to repeat what had been said in the AGM. She also said some of the directors were in the city! ....probably trying to scrounge some more cash is my guess.

Dear Mr ???????

Thank you for your email and your telephone call yesterday.

We are continuing to work with ASDA and their partners to commercialise the Greenseal technology.

Please be assured we will update the market when we have any significant news.

Best regards

Sylvia

Subject: Re: Interim Results

Dear Sylvia

Many thanks for your quick reply. Please could you elaborate further on why you cannot make comment? A lot of comment has been made in the past on Greenseal but with today's interims it seems to have gone very quiet, worringly so for many private investors (including myself) who purchased shares at much higher prices than todays 5.8p following a 20% drop in price on the day. These purchases were made on information given out by SEO management in previous statements over the last 2 years in which the impression was given that Greenseal was going to be a substantial revenue generator. These views were reinforced by analyst reports like those from Teather and Greenwood and I believe shareholders deserve to know what is happening or maybe has gone wrong with Greenseal.

From these previous comments and statements either of the following conclusions could be drawn..

1. Problems have arisen with Greenseal recently and are there now issues that could prevent full commercialisation? If this is the case I believe the company cannot withhold such information from the stockmarket and consequently a statement should be issued.

2. Were investors misled in the optimistic comments and statements that were previously made by both SEO and Teather and Greenwood and reality is now setting in.

Can you confirm the reason as to why no additional comment can be made?

Can you confirm why the interims contained no significant update on Greenseal which is / was one of SEO's major potential products.

Is it because of stock exchange rules or is it simply because of other reasons and if so what?

Many thanks in advance for your reply.

oblomov - 19 Jul 2006 07:48 - 17866 of 27111

Seems a fair enough response to me, dawall, considering the tone of your enquiry and that the last update was less than a week ago in the interims statement - i.e.

'Continued progress towards commercialisation of GREENSEAL technology with
successful trials completed with 3 major food packers'

Which brings me back to a question I asked here yesterday but which drew no response - surely someone knows (Pleeeese!)?

I asked:-

'I know we were promised (?) 200 conversions via ASDA, but did we ever know how many packers those 200 machines were spread amongst? Does anyone know how many machines these 3 suppliers are likely to have? '

P.S. I know we've seen it before, but this makes interesting reading - is it too early to say T & G got it wrong? I think it is :-
