I know a Catherine and when she is near a set of wheels, just watch out. Maniac doesn't come into it!

chocolat - 05 Nov 2004 20:32 - 17883 of 23498

Now that the kitten's busy whizzing, how about some trifle?

Kayak - 05 Nov 2004 21:14 - 17884 of 23498

Reminds me of the time I went with a plumber to a tenant's flat. I asked him to make sure he didn't let the kittens out, and what did he do? He opened the flat door wide and wedged the door of the block open too. Result, one kitten, who had never been out of the flat before, now missing. Had to spend the next hour looking for the blinking thing after chastising the plumber. Unfortunately never found it, called the very upset girl who had previously owned a kitten, and endured a ten-minute non-stop ear-lashing.

When was that?

Oh yes, that was this afternoon. What great timing, on bonfire night :-(

Wondering whether I'll dare ring tomorrow to enquire if she found it!

Socrates - 05 Nov 2004 21:16 - 17885 of 23498

Canoe
Normally the kittens come home when they get a bit peckish.

Chocs
I'm all for the trifle, your bath or mine?

chocolat - 05 Nov 2004 21:23 - 17886 of 23498

Depends on where your taps are, Socks ;)
Oh, and, K - tell her there's one going spare here..

Socrates - 05 Nov 2004 21:45 - 17887 of 23498

Chocs
The taps are on the side of the bath so that they don't get in the way of "goings on".

chocolat - 05 Nov 2004 22:09 - 17888 of 23498

Sorted!
Can we be going on with some bubbles then?

jj50 - 05 Nov 2004 22:16 - 17889 of 23498

Chocolat, I'm blushing and Socs, you should know better - I knew there were going to be fireworks in here tonight, let's hope its a sparkler not a damp squid :-)

jj50 - 05 Nov 2004 22:17 - 17890 of 23498

PS. Choc, did you wear GD out last night, no reported sitings of him since heading to the broom cupboard (in your presence?)!!

STORMCALLER - 05 Nov 2004 22:22 - 17891 of 23498

Evening all,
It is FRIDAY, which can only mean breaking out the bubbly!!
Fortunately I remembered to bring lots, would be rude not to share it..

jj50 - 05 Nov 2004 22:29 - 17892 of 23498

Champagne Stormy ........ right on cue. I have some left over smoked salmon and brown bread if you are feeling peckish .........

STORMCALLER - 05 Nov 2004 22:33 - 17893 of 23498

jj50,
You must have some of my bubbly, it is greatly improved by being shared!! much like smoked salmon and brown bread....
How has your day been,? good I hope!

jj50 - 05 Nov 2004 22:37 - 17894 of 23498

Not too bad thanks Stormie. Quite a good week all told in terms of trading - still getting the odd hiccup with those stop losses triggering too early! You seem to be working hard at the moment - do you get the week-end off to do the usual trolley race?

STORMCALLER - 05 Nov 2004 22:43 - 17895 of 23498

jj50,
Always trying to keep busy, but I don't think of trolley race as time off...better things to do!! It must be done of course, so I will be attending to it tomorrow. Are you still locked into the once-a-day visits you seemed to be suffering recently??

jj50 - 05 Nov 2004 22:44 - 17896 of 23498

I am off now - too quiet here. Am off to watch "Have I got News for You" - it is on an hour later than in England - no rude comments please!! Good night all.

STORMCALLER - 05 Nov 2004 22:47 - 17897 of 23498

Goodnight jj50.

chocolat - 05 Nov 2004 22:48 - 17898 of 23498

Bon soir jj - d'you want me to tell you how HIGNFY ended??

STORMCALLER - 05 Nov 2004 22:50 - 17899 of 23498

chocolat,
Care to help me with this bubbly? otherwise I shall have to finish it myself...

STORMCALLER - 06 Nov 2004 00:10 - 17900 of 23498

Oops, I've nearly run out...unforgiveable, must be a little more circumspect.
Better take this last one and run....
Gotta blow.
Goodnight all.
