Thanks for the info re the food trays, I didn't think it would be possible to make a biodegradeable food tray that could withstand oven temperatures, however if you look at ASDA's ready made meal shelves there are quite a large number of meals that are meant to go in the oven, some are in what look like metal trays and some look like black plastic but can still withstand oven temperatures, (I'm lazy and buy these alot) however I presume GS will still be able to seal these trays anyway.

Greenseal can be used re most such plastic type trays as they are usually made from (Polyethylene terephthalate). Creation: Production of 1 kg of PET requires the equivalent of about 2 kg of oil (raw material and energy).
Greenseal also saves up to 20% on packaging costs by eliminating the need for a PE layer for example seals mono APET to mono APET
APET is suitable for use between -40C and +70C. APET is an extremely tough material with good impact strength. APET is an extremely effective barrier against oxygen, water, carbon dioxide and nitrogen.

I lost 150 in a Dyson cleaner once - it came out in a lot better shape that the 10 I lost in a washing machine. Mind you there are some ASDA meals that don't survive cooking, let alone the packaging.

I really dont know why we are bothering with seo there are so many experts on this thread we could open our own packaging company using Bostic to seal the lids and be well ahead of seo.

Bostic is not environmentally friendly enough because it is high in VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds).
Much better to use flour and water. Similar to Greenseal really.
And if we did it with a machine that used an air vortices for the MAP element we could outdo Dyson at the same time.

Sold out today at a 5-figure () loss. The worst day of my investing life. So be it. I was steered into this co., I was given the Intel., I funded it way above my normal amount, I listened, I read, I researched (although not as deeply as I really should have done) and the final decisions as to whether to buy or sell some or all, over the past 12 months or so, always rested with ME. We were all mislead & lied to. But that's life. **it happens. Regardless, in the end, it was MY responsibilty. I will stop there.

I WISH EVERY OTHER STANELCO SHAREHOLDER EVERY SUCCESS FOR 2006 AND BEYOND. I will monitor from time to time with interest especially as now that yours truly is OUT, the sp is bound to rocket! Expect a Greenseal announcement any day soon, I'm sure!

Sorry to hear that, Markus. As Alan says, a brave decision. For those left in, I can remember when my original holding, bought at 6p, dropped to 3.6p - I came close to making the same decision as Markus, but held. The true value of a share is what you sell it for. Thats why I'm ignoring the SP at the moment - I'm confident that even if the sales of Greenseal dont hit the dizzy heights we were all predicting a year ago, that there will be SOME sales and the SP can only rise.

Nice to see someone who has lost out not blaming everyone else.
Obviously only time will tell if you made the right decision. Whatever happens to the sp, it was a brave decision, and those of us still in will perhaps if it totally dives, wish we had your bottle. Sometimes it's just as gutsy to sell at a lost than to stay in. Like the rest, wishing your other investments don't loose out.

Who'd sell 6 shares? 30p raised and 7 + dealing costs!

It was an autotrade. The orderbook works on matched bargains. A SELL trade may have been put on at say 50,000. As matched trades come in matching at the price then the volume reduces until it is used up. The final part was probably 6 shares. It is also not always possible to tell if AT trades are buys or sells anyway. A trade is just put in the order book. You can buy at the SELL price or the opposite. It is the way that most trades are done in the US for in stance. The 'O' trades are usually MM trades, the rest being almost all order book.

It is all a lot clearer if you have Level 2.
