THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Almost 11,000 foreign prisoners are locked up in British jails, costing the taxpayer more than £430million per year.
This means around one in eight of the prison population are from another country, with overseas inmates accounting for 10,861 of the 86,048 total.

The Ministry of Justice estimates it costs £40,000 per year

Today I had the honour to be the first person to be teleported over the Irish Sea. It took just one second and I did not feel a thing. Amazing!

Well, that was according to O2Roaming anyway. One second I was standing on top of Holyhead mountain, the next they sent me a message saying "Welcome to Ireland" Funny thing is, Ireland looked exactly the same as the top of Holyhead mountain! :o)

When Gary McKinnon hacked into U.S. Space Command computers several years ago and learned of the existence of "non-terrestrial officers" and "fleet-to-fleet transfers" and a secret program called "Solar Warden", he was charged by the Bush Justice Department with having committed "the biggest military computer hack of all time", and stood to face prison time of up to 70 years

Now we know why
