This ones a heck of a specualive investment but it seems that the institutions are willing to stomp up the cash to back it in the long term.

MEDICAL MARKETING Joint Venture

We recently highlighted Medical Marketing (MMG) as worthy of attention. The company, in which I have a personal share holding, has this morning announced the formation of a joint venture, Genvax, to develop a novel DNA vaccine platform technology.

Human trials have been underway since 2001 in areas such as Lymphoma and Myeloma but the technology has broad applications in cancer, viral and bacterial infections (hence the term platform). The technology works on boosting the immune system by teaching it to identify hard to recognise cancer proteins as foreign and destroy them. Early results from the 25 patient trial in lymphoma are encouraging and evaluation of the result is expected by March 2005. Successful results should mean big pharmaceutical groups will start to take financial and commercial interests around that time.

This looks to be the first of a series of announcements due from Medical Marketing as it has a range of predominantly cancer trials moving into the clinical stage. (news flow could push the price higher)

The stock has made good progress in recent sessions up to the mid-80p level where the company is valued at just under 40 million. ENDS.

Hi GF .waiting for Gen vax news which is due sometime (I wish I knew when) and Ruthenium news just a question of being more patient than usual..!

Last I heard re: Genvax was that they are talking to big pharma.
As for the P2 results, I think we are only waiting for one site to report but this will only add to the results correlated so far allegedly.

You may want to check these 2 links daily as they are the sponsors of the trials so all releases will have to be passed by them so chances are you may see detail here first.

yes its looking great for Genvax and theres a good chance of them signing a deal with a big pharma of all the patients treated not one has a recurrance of cancer and this after 4 years of treatment.
And Ru trials are waiting for one more piece of paper.

As far as I know Ru is in a well advanced stage and its a case of waiting for a final test result from a lab.Its now a question of time.

By the recent trades, news of the test result to be released.

Certainly the chart is looking much more stable with the share price now above all the moving averages in a slowly rising trend.

It is a big contrast to the frenzy back in March when the price hit 3 and the daily volumes were around 3 million. Now it is unusual to get higher volumes than 200,000. The frenzy seems to have been triggered by Michael Walters' ultra bullish tip and many people following his advice have lost a packet or are sitting on paper losses. And yet the picture is still just as rosy as it was then. In fact we are now that much nearer a commercialisation deal which I believe will inevitably come 'shortly'. The deal will make it easier to put a value on the shares and I feel sure that we will get back to 3 and well beyond in due course. This means that todays price is an absolute bargain imho and people like tenapen, buying in now is a very good move indeed.
