Snappy
How do you get anywhere near 2.7m when H1 was 400k loss, H2 is always stronger for cartesia and the streaming division have about $3m coming in from Softbank and the OEM in sep.
Your figures for losses are pie in the sky numbers and if that was the case we would be drawing 300k a month from GEM, how do you explain that, Tad have no cash in the bank therefore how are they continuing to trade?

mackem - 10 Oct 2005 12:55 - 1794 of 2262

Look into my eyes, into my eyes, not around my eyes, into
my eyes.....click.....Tadpole WILL make a profit :-))

goodwill write offs of circa 2m

yuff - 10 Oct 2005 15:13 - 1796 of 2262

snappy

i didn't think there was anymore write offs available and it had all been written off last year.

snappy - 10 Oct 2005 15:52 - 1797 of 2262

let's wait and see yuff. i'm sure they'll be able find at least a few million of write offs if the apps express has been thrown in the bin by SW and then there will be some redundancy payments as well.

pachandl - 10 Oct 2005 16:09 - 1798 of 2262

You are "reaching" Snappy - which is not your style.

yuff - 10 Oct 2005 16:58 - 1799 of 2262

Snappy

the only person who would have got a decent redundacy pay off was KEB and we were told at the AGM that he didn't get a penny!

mackem - 10 Oct 2005 17:03 - 1800 of 2262

Do i recall a certain David Lee promising he would buy shares
at the AGM too ?

yuff - 11 Oct 2005 09:52 - 1801 of 2262

mackem

yes you certainly do!

snappy - 11 Oct 2005 11:28 - 1802 of 2262

MightyMicro - 12 Oct 2005 10:21 - 1804 of 2262

snappy - 12 Oct 2005 12:45 - 1805 of 2262

not sure some of them know what is going on over on iii.
If SW doesn't perform he should go imo.

Beau62 - 13 Oct 2005 11:00 - 1811 of 2262

yuff...saw yr reply on ii. Agree. Of course, if his best buddy John-boy was to buy, like he said he would, say, a few million it would make it even harder to kick SW off and surely at these levels he could grab quite a few..although mindful it may be a closed period. Personally, still suspicious of these expert Angels and why the board have not demonstrated a will to enhance shareholder value...still all smells to me. Hope to be proven wrong of course.

BOOBOO - 13 Oct 2005 11:54 - 1812 of 2262

Folks, I sold these a while ago after waiting two years and at (another) great loss. HOWEVER, a friend who I unfortunately managed to convince to buy some held on and decided a few weeks ago to get an independent report on whether or not to sell (at another great loss!). Interestingly, the report was VERY positive.
Now, I'm thinking..........should I jump back in? Is the time right??? I will try to get a copy of the report and pick out the goodies.....
