let's wait and see yuff. i'm sure they'll be able find at least a few million of write offs if the apps express has been thrown in the bin by SW and then there will be some redundancy payments as well.

the only person who would have got a decent redundacy pay off was KEB and we were told at the AGM that he didn't get a penny!

not sure some of them know what is going on over on iii.
If SW doesn't perform he should go imo.

yuff...saw yr reply on ii. Agree. Of course, if his best buddy John-boy was to buy, like he said he would, say, a few million it would make it even harder to kick SW off and surely at these levels he could grab quite a few..although mindful it may be a closed period. Personally, still suspicious of these expert Angels and why the board have not demonstrated a will to enhance shareholder value...still all smells to me. Hope to be proven wrong of course.

Folks, I sold these a while ago after waiting two years and at (another) great loss. HOWEVER, a friend who I unfortunately managed to convince to buy some held on and decided a few weeks ago to get an independent report on whether or not to sell (at another great loss!). Interestingly, the report was VERY positive.
Now, I'm thinking..........should I jump back in? Is the time right??? I will try to get a copy of the report and pick out the goodies.....

Absolutely agree, will be intersting what JD will have to say at the next AGM if he hasn't bought, one thing about DL he does do what he says, wouldn't like to be on a board currently with JD and SW on it, would imagine its quite hard to get anything approved against SW's wishes.

Agree.
JD will probably come up with some smarmy excuse and bluff his way out of it. He'll have the gift of the gab, it's what he does for a living. The man has no integrity in my view after his buying boob. Ancient history though, he'll either own a part of the company in the future by way of his angel work behind the scenes or he'll be binned because he does nothing for the company.
I've always been a little skeptical about DL being part time and unless it is proven otherwise I personally assume that in that position it is not possible to keep his finger on the pulse all the time which is why SW runs the gaff and does what he likes and being part time may have contributed to KB's antics too and may have a bearing on why the sp is at an all time low and in the poo. What else are we to assume when it has all been hush-hushed. Maybe that is doing a disservice to DL, because he bought when he said he would, but when I see admissions in the Cambridge Dandy that SW was reluctant to do as the Chairman advised re his selling, that speaks volumes and clearly indicates SW is running the gaff full stop and couldn't give too hoots about DL or any suggestions. If I was the Chairman I'd have insisted but the whole SW selling affair was the biggest fiddle going in my book and a deliberate attempt to bring the price down. I would probably be able to throw SW about 2 or 3 feet, and that's about as far as I would trust him. He has mislead right from the start....more to come, my utter jacksie.
Just my views of course....

When we "took" over ST there was some 80M shares given to the owners of ST. I know that Stig holds 20m so there is a float of circa 60m some where with his former backers at ST, so to get rid of Stig might prove somewhat immpossable if not difficult. He is here to stay like it or not.
