Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

KEAYDIAN - 22 Aug 2007 11:11 - 17960 of 24230

Morning all.

KEAYDIAN - 22 Aug 2007 11:11 - 17961 of 24230

Any tea?

Bluelady - 22 Aug 2007 11:17 - 17962 of 24230

Plenty of tea Keaydian. Would you like some?

KEAYDIAN - 22 Aug 2007 14:00 - 17963 of 24230

Yes please and some.

Socrates - 22 Aug 2007 14:45 - 17964 of 24230

Since you lot all seem to be too busy to get lunch I've made two big caldrons full of savoury mince and vegetables. One pot is made with that Quorn stuff for the vegetable munchers and one with minced beef for the meat eaters. It really is cordon bleu so help yourselves. You can eat whilst stock-watching and trading.

Sherry trifle (what else?) for pud.

stockbunny - 22 Aug 2007 15:20 - 17965 of 24230

Excellent Socs - I'll grab a bowl of the quorn variety :>)

(munch...munch)

Excellent, compliments to the chef!

KEAYDIAN - 22 Aug 2007 15:24 - 17966 of 24230

What, no lamb?

stockbunny - 22 Aug 2007 15:30 - 17967 of 24230

Ummmmm you're not allowed to say that! ;>0

Socrates - 22 Aug 2007 17:11 - 17968 of 24230

Oops!

Socrates - 22 Aug 2007 19:30 - 17969 of 24230

Spaceman - 22 Aug 2007 21:59 - 17970 of 24230

Socrates - 22 Aug 2007 23:27 - 17971 of 24230

Oh dear oh dear!

MightyMicro - 22 Aug 2007 23:48 - 17972 of 24230

Just popped in to say that I'm still alive and kicking. A surprise to all, especially me.

As to the new banner - How do you know that you exist? - s'obvious, innit, Cogito ergo sum, although the Cogito gets more tricky after another glass of the house red, please. Thank you.

Spaceman - 23 Aug 2007 08:17 - 17973 of 24230

I exisit because I insist that I exist.

Still raining in Norfolk....

Socrates - 23 Aug 2007 08:51 - 17974 of 24230

When I washed up last evening, I noticed that I had incorrectly labelled the savoury mince. That means we now have a carnivorous rabbit somewhere around. Sorry vegetarians, I'll do better next time.

KEAYDIAN - 23 Aug 2007 08:58 - 17975 of 24230

Morning, zzzz zzzz zzzz.

cobber - 23 Aug 2007 09:24 - 17976 of 24230

Morning all

Tea and toast for anyone? Choice of strawberry jam or chunky marmalade!

Socrates - 23 Aug 2007 09:33 - 17977 of 24230

I'll have tea and both strawberry jam and chunky marmalade, thanks Cobber. I notice the carnivorous rabbit is not around, out hunting perhaps?

mg - 23 Aug 2007 09:52 - 17978 of 24230

Haven't those lovely Environmental Health Officers been yet - they would certainly have spotted the mislabeling of quorn/mince and therefore probably saved our resident bunny from turning into a meat eating savage.

How can you live with yourself Socrates - News 24 is just announcing, as I post, the nationwide search for a schizoid rabbit last seen eating it's way through a McDonalds in the heart of Middlesex. They are warning not to approach her with carrots, lettuce leaves or any other sort of vegetarian food stuff. The last person who did so had a tea towel shoved in a rather unusual part of their anatomy.

The drama, the intrigue ...... I don't know how I have survived without visiting this place for such a long time.

See you in a few months time - can't take the excitement.

cobber - 23 Aug 2007 09:55 - 17979 of 24230

Coming up Socs.Toast piled up somewhat with a combination of both. Don't spill on your clean shirt!

Hope the rabbit does not bring in a field mice as I think BL might get a fright!
