Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

Darn, it's all gone Alex! It was fantastic!

K's gone to a mystery place Bunny! I've been to many mystery places today delivering Tamiflu & Relenza. Ironical really, I could have done with some of that 2 weeks ago! :o)

stockbunny - 20 Jul 2009 11:00 - 1800 of 4886

Irony plays such a part in life doesn't it? Main thing is you are all better now :>)

Morning RobertAlex - good to see you again :>) Just pop in when you can, you're always welcome!

Anyone for a cuppa?

kimoldfield - 20 Jul 2009 11:24 - 1801 of 4886

Morning Bunny! My wife says I don't do enough irony. Oh no, sorry, that's ironing!
I would love a coffee please Bunny.

stockbunny - 20 Jul 2009 12:39 - 1802 of 4886

Coffee and a light lunch of smoked salmon and baby salad leaves with a light coleslaw and crusty roll. :>)

Ironing .....don't talk to me about ironing.......2 sons one in his early 20's, one 18.....one continuously washing & ironing Mum! ;>)

optomistic - 20 Jul 2009 15:55 - 1803 of 4886

But doesn't it keep you fit Bunny :-)
Can I have the light lunch for dinner but much more of it please?

stockbunny - 20 Jul 2009 16:06 - 1804 of 4886

Double helpings then for you, thankfully there's enough to go round - very quiet day in here today :>)

robertalexander - 20 Jul 2009 21:11 - 1805 of 4886

SB,

get them to join up, then their drill staff will become their new mum and dad, and they will learn to do their own washing and ironing thus freeing up your time. failing that just say no!!!
my mum taught to wash clothes when i was 15 and my 'military mum'[a 14 stone hairy-arsed gorilla of a drill sgt] taught me how to iron several years later. i wont let anyone do my kit for me now as i want it done right.

Alex

Time for lunch, can't smell anything cooking :-(

stockbunny - 21 Jul 2009 14:53 - 1807 of 4886

Alex you are so right! But I am a daft soft idiot and I don't mind admitting it myself so really it's a rod I made for my own back.

Thank you for widening my general knowledge too - I didn't know gorillas have hairy arses and now I do ;>) LOL

Opto you missed it....it came and went so fast....whoooosssshhhhhh....see there went a tea break with bikkies...............

kimoldfield - 21 Jul 2009 17:03 - 1808 of 4886

Opto - one cuppa and a couple of danish....well quick then! LOL

optomistic - 22 Jul 2009 11:44 - 1813 of 4886

Been out....now my teas cold :-(

stockbunny - 22 Jul 2009 11:58 - 1814 of 4886

Owww now who's fault is that - never mind I'll tip half of it away and add some more hot water to the rest, well we have to economise you know, there's a recession on! ;>)

kimoldfield - 22 Jul 2009 11:59 - 1815 of 4886

Lovely danish Bunny!

Puerh is, apparently, a very healthy tea, lowers cholesterol - stuff like that. I think I would probably prefer a pint of Guinness! :o)

optomistic - 22 Jul 2009 12:07 - 1816 of 4886

Tanks Bunny (that's my cold talk) tastes much better, Good to see you are helping out with the recession :-)

stockbunny - 22 Jul 2009 12:37 - 1817 of 4886

Ahhh I am now enlightened Kim, no sorry don't have any of that, have a pint of Guinness! ;>)

We do our best Opto :>)

OK in keeping with the saving money theme we are having bubble n squeak with left over ham for lunch, excellent with a dab or ten of HP Sauce, it could be said the best thing that ever came out of the House of Commons but I couldn't possibly say that.................. ;>)

optomistic - 22 Jul 2009 12:40 - 1818 of 4886
