An old favourite of mine - tiny Israeli based company making electronic tagging devices for security/prison agencies and also for medical use

You have to buy a few at a time as the shares are not very liquid .....

Mid price as we start - 49.5p current 67.5p increase 36.36% (09/05)

last news was a trading update

5.01.03 :-5.5, (52) in a trading update, says it expects 2002 full year results to be in line with those of the previous year, in terms of both sales and gross profit, reflecting modest underlying business growth. Operational expenditure in the second half of the year was higher, showing an increased investment in our new US subsidiary. The second half has ended profitably and with a sound balance sheet. The past year saw important market opportunities being realised, setting a number of significant milestones for both Elmo-Tech and HomeFree, which are expected to bear positive effect in the coming trading periods. US trading conditions in the law enforcement were conflicting during the year. While budgetary constraints are forcing corrections agencies to cut prison budgets, setting the ground for growth of community based solutions, the depth and immediacy of the cuts have also affected the immediate growth of electronic monitoring programs. The company view this as a temporary slow down, expecting sales for 2003 in the region to recover and continue to regard the US as highly material to the company's future growth. Outside the US, Elmo-Tech continued to substantiate its leading market position, winning new contracts in Scotland, France, The Netherlands and Singapore and expanding existing business in Europe and the Pacific Rim. In the Telehomecare field, our efforts have been focussed on setting up the new US based subsidiary, positioning the new company and its range of products within its local target market and laying the infrastructure for country-wide distribution. Market feedback is encouraging. Dmatek CEO, Yoav Reisman commented: "We continue to make progress both financially and strategically. Our business is profitable and our balance sheet is strong and I remain confident in Dmatek's future." The company also announced the appointment of Michael Bennett to the Board as a non-executive director. Michael Bennett, 37 is an Investment Director at LMS Capital , the venture capital arm of London Merchant Securties.

Dmatek Wins 2nd US Correctional Facility Bid

Will Supply Pioneering Wireless Inmate Tracking System

Dmatek Ltd., the London listed (DTK.L) provider of leading electronic monitoring
technologies, today announces a contract to provide an inmate tracking system in
a US correctional Facility. The contract was awarded to Dmatek's wholly owned
subsidiary, Elmo-Tech, which develops and markets the AMS-2000i inmate tracking
system. The new system, valued some $400,000 will become operative in early
2004.

A similar system was commissioned a year ago in another low risk facility in
Minnesota. A number of other, smaller scale systems are also used in pilots in
Europe and the Far East. The new system will be configured to monitor a few
hundred inmates, who will wear Elmo-Tech's standard tags, monitored by a
wireless network of smart control units distributed throughout the facility.

The AMS 2000i offering is currently the only available wireless inmate tracking
solution - a key advantage in a prison's demanding environment. The system does
not require any wiring, making it easy to set up and overall much more cost
effective than similar non-wireless products.

Elmo-Tech expects this newly formed market to develop considerably over the next
2-3 years. The potential for inmate tracking in US correctional industry market
is based on the soaring incarceration facilities population. Over a 1000 State,
Federal and privately owned correctional facilities' that house over 250 inmates
on a daily average, form the AMS 2000i initial market.

The AMS-2000i was developed on the basis of Elmo-Tech's accumulated electronic
monitoring expertise. It is designed to monitor groups and/or individuals in
correctional faculties, their surroundings, or in set open environments. It
enables real-time restricted zones administration and supports correctional
facilities' operations by tightening supervision of inmates and enhancing the
security of staff members. The system allows for the flexible implementation of
various types of in-house and off premises work and /or rehabilitation programs
and can interface with other facility communication systems as needed.

Dmatek's CEO, Yoav Reisman said, 'The demand for inmate tracking systems inside
corrections facilities seem to be gaining a strong momentum. We expect the US
corrections market to be the first to adopt the technology in growing
quantities. Elmo-Tech offers the system as part of its end to end law
enforcement technology offering.'

Trading Update: Sales Strengthened, Solid Profit Shown

Dmatek Ltd., the London listed provider of leading electronic monitoring
technologies, today issues the following update on trading for the second half
of 2003, ending 31st December 2003:

Sales for the second half of the year increased 25% over the first half as a
result of continuing growth in new and existing accounts. This should result in
the company reporting revenues of approximately $15.8m for the year.

Gross profit was also higher for the period and for the year as a whole,
affected by the mix of products sold, new business won and favourable exchange
rates. The company's cash position has improved over the $11.6m which was
reported at the end of 2002.

Operational expenses were on budget, with R&D investment continuing on plan. The
company expects to post an operational and net profit for the year,
significantly ahead of market expectations.

In the second half of the year, we have seen increased demand for Elmo-Tech's
line of speciality tagging products, including remote alcohol monitoring, GPS
offender tracking, automatic voice verification and inmate tracking systems. We
are highly encouraged by the developments in Elmo-Tech's European market, where
the UK and France are preparing for new, mass-monitoring programs expected to
start in 2005. We believe we are well placed to win our share of this growing
market.

Sales of HomeFree continued to grow during H2, doubling over the first year
half, to a total of $1.5m for the year. Our efforts to engage corporate clients
bore first fruit towards the end of the year with HomeFree being selected as
preferred supplier for wandering systems by a nursing home chain.

Dmatek's CEO, Yoav Reisman commented: 'We are confident in our target markets
long-term prospects. We made substantial technological leaps during the past
year and will work to transform them into profit bearing accomplishments.' He
added, 'Given the current market indicators, the demand for our products should
continue to grow in 2004 and beyond, providing us the necessary opportunity for
future growth and profitability'.

Preliminary results for the year ending 31st December 2003 will be announced on
Tuesday, 2nd March 2004.

Recent price drift has stopped and hopefully reversed

CAS Dmatek Ld : Wins 3 yr contract in NSW
21-Apr-2004 07:24

Dmatek today said that Elmo-Tech, its
wholly owned subsidiary, has won a
three-year contract for tagging
equipment, technical support and
maintenance services in New South
Wales, Australia.
Immediate revenues from the new
contract are over $1m and the total
value is expected to reach some $2m
over the life of the program. The
agreement includes two one-year
extension options.
This contract follows an existing
contract with the NSW Department of
Corrections won by Elmo-Tech in 1998.
Further to a competitive tender process
during which it has extensively field
tested a number of systems, the NSW DOC
has decided to upgrade its currently
used Elmo-Tech systems to the new E3
monitoring platform.
The order includes a combination of
landline, cellular and mobile
monitoring units.
In March, Dmatek announced the sale of
a first E3 system, combining a standard
tagging system with a voice
verification module, to the programme
run by the Ministry of Justice in
Barcelona, Spain. The company's voice
verification technology was also
recently installed with customers in
England and the US.
