Aerobox--whats happening?? (ARX)

keith thomas - 03 Mar 2004 10:17

This sounds like a great product with loads of potential. I bought at 38p but its now around 32p,,, why???

keith thomas - 19 Mar 2004 16:13 - 18 of 39

perhaps we should help them and create a web page for them!! now wouldnt that be interesting!

slmchow - 19 Mar 2004 16:27 - 19 of 39

their website is

http://www.aeroboxuld.com/

wilco99 - 19 Mar 2004 16:28 - 20 of 39

They were one of the exhibitors at the Air Freight Asia conference & exhibition staged in Bangkok, Thailand. on February 17-20, 2004.
Hope it generated interest with orders in the pipeline.

It will be good to know if the company has delivered the 100 unit Aer Lingus ordered.

Last week Aer Lingus announce operating profit was up 30% to 55.6 million (83m euros), 3.5m ahead of its own target, while profit after exceptional items rose 96% to 46.2m.
and will push ahead with cost-cutting in an ongoing effort to drive down fares and compete in a tough market.

Hope that they will turn the 900 options to firm orders

little woman - 19 Mar 2004 16:50 - 24 of 39

Thanks for the web site, but going by the name - no wonder I couldn't find it, and none of the research sitess I use didn't have one listed.

little woman - 19 Mar 2004 16:53 - 25 of 39

Not much info for investors at the website, including watermark group!

keith thomas - 22 Mar 2004 12:20 - 26 of 39

This continues its slide today, is everyone still confident? When do you think it will start to head north and by how much??

slmchow - 22 Mar 2004 12:54 - 27 of 39

Tthe volume of trade is very low to cause a 2p slide.

Shameless - 31 Mar 2004 14:05 - 28 of 39

Andy - 31 Mar 2004 15:10 - 29 of 39

draw?epic=ARX

hokistar - 31 Mar 2004 22:28 - 30 of 39

expect RNS @7am

aldwickk - 01 Apr 2004 09:38 - 31 of 39

reading from the results: the weight of the boxes used in the trails was higher than planned as our panel supplier increased panel weight on a crucial supply shipment. what a balls-up. will arx be getting compensation?

slmchow - 01 Apr 2004 21:28 - 32 of 39

The company must be expecting orders for them to invest in a factory with a capacity output of 6000 to 15000 units a year. Currently they are manually made, I think it is something like 10 units a month (I stand corrected on this)

From the RNS.

" The new equipment will permit the company to move from a primarily manual system of production to a more automated mode. The new plant and equipment is expected to increase
manufacturing capacity to between 6,000 and 15,000 ULDs per annum depending upon
the number of shifts implemented. As a result unit production costs are expected
to fall significantly once panel production moves fully in house in the second
half of 2004. As well as producing ULDs, the plant will produce composite panels
for other markets such as automotive, construction and the military."

keith thomas - 02 Apr 2004 11:21 - 33 of 39

IS THIS GOOD OR BAD FOR THE SHARE PRICE?

keith thomas - 05 Apr 2004 12:48 - 34 of 39

whats everyones view on this stock? i bought at 38p and it is now around 23p.
to sell or to hold, that is the question!!

AdieH - 05 Apr 2004 13:35 - 35 of 39

God knows, looked like a solid investment and since I bought its continued to go down and down.......

Biscuit - 05 Apr 2004 13:36 - 36 of 39

IMHO I think this will come good in the end as it sounds like an innovative product and with the lighter weight/fuel savings and higher durability I can't see why the airlines wouldn't be buying unless a competitor came in but can't see that at the minute...but that is just my opinion.

GEOFFREY.R - 06 Apr 2004 15:31 - 37 of 39

I agree Biscuit. I think they are good for the medium/long term.
