The UK government unexpectedly had to borrow money in July, traditionally a good month for tax receipts.

Borrowing to cover the gap between spending and revenue was £600m in July, the Office for National Statistics said. There was a surplus of £2.8bn in the same month a year earlier.

The Treasury blamed disappointing corporation tax receipts.

Unexpectedly only for this bunch of coalition failures.

stan have ben in that pub many times .is the food still good value

Haven't been there for a couple of years or so Tanks but was quality when we did in terms of Ale, food and service. It's still in this years Good Beer Guide so assume it's as good as usual.

I will be that way visiting my friends in late sept will let you know .
