rather than pick out individual stocks to trade, it can often be worthwhile to trade the indices themselves, especially in times of high volatility.

for those so inclined, i attach below charts for FTSE and FTSE 250, though one might equally be tempted to trade Dow or S&P, which is significantly broader in its coverage, or even NASDAQ

now down to a relatively important level around 17,660
how greedy do i get?
really not sure ...... if this level breaks, then there is potential of a further 100 point drop

banked at 17,642 as can't be arsed to sit and watch and some sort of support (resistance if you like) seems to be coming into play

good stuff cynic - as we all know best not to be too greedy - a bird in the hand......... and all that jazz!

i've certainly had a good run recently, and both the bank manager and myself are very happy :-)
