4-2
10 man Utd were good enough to destroy the goons!
(Pity about Chelski last week but we will beat them next time)

Plenty of noise from the Essex Boys last night, Timbo. That short trip into London from the suburbs made it almost like a home fixture.

Btw, you don't play us again till mid-April. It could be game, set and match by then. Or is that a different sport?
:o)

Interesting project Spaceman - the jet powered aircraft.
It must be time for a doughnut or two and a coffee but only a small one. Dutch coffee mkes me nervous.
I was once told to stop drinking the coffee in a Dutch coffee house - I had to start drinking bourbon instead.

There could be the FA cup and the CL before April so Utd could still beat Chelski 4 times this season!

True and very observant. Equally the Blues could beat the Essex Boys 6 times in a season.

Strangely enough the goons had similar thoughts when they brought their 49 game unbeaten run and 11 point lead to OT last Oct. The return of Van the goal scoring man should make a difference to the rest of the encounters with Chelski.

Funguson has been maintaining for many weeks that we're on the verge of a catastrophic slip-up in the North which will derail the remainder of the season. He may be right and, as Fundy correctly pointed out, we haven't won anything yet. All that we can do is to keep winning to maintain the gap and that starts tonight against Blackburn.

Do call in when you can, warm welcome always available.

Don't encourage him with the beers Bunny, it's too early!!

I had to check to whom you addressed that question, Bunny. The words 'Jeffmack' and 'overworked' rarely appear in the same sentence. After all he spends more time in here than we do!
Assorted meringues for tea today. Hazelnut ones with coffee creme, orange ones with lemon creme filling and chocolate meringues with plain cream as well as the plain ordinary ones.

Unexpectedly surprised. DCA and DYS both burst into action this afternoon and while I thought they just might move up, I'm always somehwat stunned when they really do!
That means we will have a happy Socks this evening as his DYS shares will have risen about 12% since 2005 started.
