Oilywag,
Anybody who writes,
'' Reasons? Some are in the last 2 years posts, others are held dearly to my heart.''
Has fallen in love with the share and as lost all resason in making a detached investment decision.

Dearly to my heart would read as "confidential" to any but a one line accident chaser who appears when the going is tough and disappears again just as quickly.
the sheer arrogance of people, who say nowt till a share is on a downtrend and then show up to tell the world how wrong they were is mindnumbing.
I fall in love with an investment strategy that has served me very well for a number of years. It is based on blind ignorance of charting and balance sheets , a nodding acquaintance with company financial law and a better than evens ratio of spotting a winning business idea. Not brilliant. Not earth shattering. it loses me money on some stock. Any method does.
The only thing that really gets my goat is those who always know best, but only after. Beware the buffoon who drives away serious investors and contributors through his lack of charm, witless postings and offensive insults. If I refer to Tony and captain Mainwaring, one poster will know i know his history of being an arse who disrupts for the sheer fun of it and has nothing worthwhile to add to any debate.
There are those with a negative veiwpoint whom I respect greatly on these boards (Bos, Andy et al) and then there are those whose chosen aim in life is to try and wind everyone up by trying to be clever after the event.
Indeed I can think of one or two contributors who will scratch up enough grey matter shortly to finally predict the winner of the 2006 world cup. A particular one will probably get that wrong as well.

Telling people to sell months ago is not after the event, and is worthwhile , its you that as lost money on this share not me. TonyWatts invested a large amount in these he took profits on the way up to 30p and cut his loses when things started to look not right, like i did. just admit it you have acted like a compleat novice by holding on to these shares.

Hewittalan6,
Alan,
One of your posts a bit earlier mentioned.'WM have apparently sold their German interests'.
This may not be a bad thing. It appears that they miscalculated (their own words) the German market as they do not shop in the same way as the US shopper. The general concept re the Walmart way did not gel with the German supermarket shopper. I have no idea why and they did not elaborate to any extent. They are now looking at Australia. A brief bit of info......Executives from Wal-Mart, which is based in Bentonville, Arkansas, are known to have visited Australia recently to look at possible targets. Coles Myer, the supermarket retailer, and Woolworths, its larger rival, have been identified as likely candidates. "WalMart has been looking at Australia closely. After the German situation it will be looking to do a deal very quickly," said an executive close to WalMart.
They had 85 stores in Germany, no doubt Australia will have scope for at least as many. It appears that Australian shoppers, shop similar to those in the USA, whatever that means.

Does it make you feel superior calling somebody a "compleat (should be complete) novice"?

alan, re : winner of the 2006 world cup. i am pretty certain it was italy because we had a big celebration but, once i started reading the papers i've become convinced it was france because they've had all the coverage. but this is for a different debate/thread :))

Oilywag,
Does it make you feel superior when you spot someones spelling mistake ?
My investment decision to sell was superior to holding on to a share that made me a lot money at 30p and turning it into a big lost at 5p, its not calling him a complete novice that makes me feel it was a superior decision to his.

Once again, Aldwickk, you seek to distort and cause problems. I never once referred to Mr Watts investments. I was referring to the fact that you set out to deliberately offend people and ruined a perfectly good, if a little amateur investment thread.
You upset and offended a whole community, many of whom were extremely well informed and offered good and substantial posts. Those people chose to leave rather than listen to your mindless ramblings. You attempted to appear knowledgable by copying posts from this site to that one without crediting the source,a nd made them appear to be your own words.
As for you telling everyone to sell many months ago, I have no recollection of you posting sell when the SP was 30p, but I cannot be certain, and if you say you did, then i wil accept that.
Novice? Perhaps. Successfull accross my investments? Yes. Do I aim for anything other than trouble? certainly. You cannot say the same.
People may judge for themselves by your postings what they think. I care not.

Greekman,
I am not involved in WM in any way, and perhaps the news was old. i didn't know the reasons for it and didn't think for one moment it was anything to do with SEO, I just thought it was odd, and a bit of news to throw in.

Twisted it again, haven't you.
"Perfectly good, if a little amateur" was what i actually typed. You also missed the bit about many being extremely well informed. If the cap fits...........
never let the facts get in the way of a good argument. I see you have no problem with the little detail of you copying posts and claiming it as your own work.

Alan,
No problem, I was not hinting that you were connected in any way with WM, and I did think your post was worth, as you say "throwing in". I was just giving a bit more info on the German sell and the Australian possible buys.
The news only came out yesterday, so it's not old and with the possible future connection SEO/Walmart it may well be relevent.
