it was because i told him he was getting hysterical
and should get some pacifiers,so he started throwing more tantrums,
hence the filters,"such a big child"

Look on the bes thread on advfn
at times Paul talked to himself for weeks on end to his imaginary friends until he built up a following and when they all lost their bit Paul disappeared into the sun-set before he apeared again with other user names.
he is a crook so be very wary of him or what he has got to say

Sequestor - 22 Jun 2005 14:43 - 1816 of 3776

that`s for sure- report him to abuse whenever you see him deserve it- like every day.

akel44 - 22 Jun 2005 15:04 - 1817 of 3776

i was neutral at first, and reading the statement
which will be of significant loss by the year end,
and then pm saying the share price 15p- 20p in 6 months
is totally in conflict with the statement,

hewittalan6 - 22 Jun 2005 15:11 - 1818 of 3776

Gotta say, I was bearish on this stock some time ago, but now I treat it as one of those stocks that go in my odd sock drawer, on the offchance that there will be a big turn around one day.
Don't think it is either as bad as one or two memebers say (Bankruptcy here we come) or as rosy as Paul would like us to believe. It's somewhere in between. The picture at the moment is quite grim, but the companies businesses can be hugely profitable, given good management (lacking at the moment) and some good luck.
No quick gains, not for widows and orphans, but a stock that long term may just be a winner, but could just as likely collapse totally.
Would love to be ruthless, cut my losses and get out, but I have a niggly feeling that with not much more to lose, i MIGHT miss a good long termer.

The statement did NOT say there will be a signficant loss. It stated quite clearly profits will be significantly lower than market expectations, but still profitable by Q3 (July - September). Significantly lower could still mean 2m profit from 3.8m forecast previously.

Why can't people read documents properly or do they do it deliberately?

willfagg - 22 Jun 2005 15:17 - 1820 of 3776

your position appears to be the same as mine. have only the cuffs left on my shirt with this one ( got in around 20p)
Still feels such a good thing with the right management, and like you feel it is possible that in the medium term could still provide a good return. Just hope i am not kidding myself, having said that at 4p a share now, I do not have so much left to lose.

hewittalan6 - 22 Jun 2005 15:21 - 1821 of 3776

Willfagg, Got in at 13pps, about 20 mins before CEO quit!!! Now thats timing. An expensive lesson to learn, but I really cant be bothered to sell now. Its a loss on paper till I do sell, when it becomes real, and I invested based on the same information available now, other than the warning of a few days ago. Long term, nothing has changed much.

akel44 - 22 Jun 2005 15:35 - 1822 of 3776

a significant loss in profits,i will amend my statement,
"without getting hysterical", lol

Dil - 22 Jun 2005 15:47 - 1823 of 3776

Eurotunnel likely to make a profit before these imo.

Good afternoon "Yooers" (or "cymru am sheep" as they say in Wales)

Good news...been chatting with my city contacts! They say the Market Makers read this thread and are running scared, they can see some of us shrewd cookies topping up at these bargain prices and know we will be making huge profit, those pesky MM's aint silly, they know where to get all the inside info..its a credit to this thread.
Told my broker and he now says he doesnt really think i'm a pea-brained tosspot, but he does howver think i'm a bit of a twat.

From a competitor.

The following text is very important.

Nissi recently commented on the new AVAGO casino mobile games and how they will only be available on the 3 network, based on a news item in November. He then compared it to GMC who struck a deal with Orange recently. Well I wasn't happy with such an assumption, so e.mailed AVAGO, asking what Networks the games will be available on.

Thank you for your query.

The games should be available on all networks, in the near future. We hope this answers your question.

Yours sincerely

Avago Customer Care Team

Nissi mate, yes that's right. Pay attention to the word ALL!

Better adjust your spreadsheet because that is VERY significant. Now YOO only need to get the distribution channels right, like perhaps a national tabloid newspaper for example and the profits for the Gaming Division will EXCEED expectations, once it all kick off!

aldwickk - 22 Jun 2005 16:00 - 1826 of 3776

dominic simpson esq , are you saying we are Welsh sheep?

dominic simpson esq - 22 Jun 2005 16:01 - 1827 of 3776
