Once again, Aldwickk, you seek to distort and cause problems. I never once referred to Mr Watts investments. I was referring to the fact that you set out to deliberately offend people and ruined a perfectly good, if a little amateur investment thread.
You upset and offended a whole community, many of whom were extremely well informed and offered good and substantial posts. Those people chose to leave rather than listen to your mindless ramblings. You attempted to appear knowledgable by copying posts from this site to that one without crediting the source,a nd made them appear to be your own words.
As for you telling everyone to sell many months ago, I have no recollection of you posting sell when the SP was 30p, but I cannot be certain, and if you say you did, then i wil accept that.
Novice? Perhaps. Successfull accross my investments? Yes. Do I aim for anything other than trouble? certainly. You cannot say the same.
People may judge for themselves by your postings what they think. I care not.

Greekman,
I am not involved in WM in any way, and perhaps the news was old. i didn't know the reasons for it and didn't think for one moment it was anything to do with SEO, I just thought it was odd, and a bit of news to throw in.

Twisted it again, haven't you.
"Perfectly good, if a little amateur" was what i actually typed. You also missed the bit about many being extremely well informed. If the cap fits...........
never let the facts get in the way of a good argument. I see you have no problem with the little detail of you copying posts and claiming it as your own work.

Alan,
No problem, I was not hinting that you were connected in any way with WM, and I did think your post was worth, as you say "throwing in". I was just giving a bit more info on the German sell and the Australian possible buys.
The news only came out yesterday, so it's not old and with the possible future connection SEO/Walmart it may well be relevent.

hewittalan6,
I posted lock in some profits at around 28p and then said sell at 16p , if not on this thread then on the AOL bb.

Thanks, Greek.
I was told about the German sale on Saturday evening, by that "made-up" friend of mine who works at a senior level at Asda, but I had no idea about the Aussie stuff.
WM & SEO as bedfellows? I wish I were as certain as you are, greek, but I still get a nagging feeling that all is not well with the Green credentials and Asdas Green audit, As I posted a few weeks ago.
Despite this I still see the upside as much greater than the downside, so i am sticking with it.

Cheers Alan,
I am about as certain as anyone can be in this game. How certain is that, is anyones guess. Like you I see more upside than downside, but as previously said I am not counting my chickens till I can either buy one greensealed, or from a takeaway wrapped in Starpol.

Geekman,
You are beginning to sound like hewittalan6, '' more upside than downside '' thats because the price is below 5p bid, LOL

This extracted from Evil's e-mail received this morning.
"I am asked why shares in Stanelco (SEO) of which I am long have fallen sharply. I do not know. I feel a bit of a twit for going long having shorted the shares very successfully. No doubt comrade Legg is already digging out his green biro to remind me of page 112 of the Good Book* and how those who sin by diverging from the true path will receive punishment in this life. I fear that my latest liaison with a blue-sky stock with no asset backing is indeed just such an unoriginal (on my part) sin. I really haven't a clue what is going on."
I assume that the "Good Book" is Evil's own bible on investment strategy of which we all have as bedtime reading.
I doubt that even Evil would tempt fate by going short on this stock now, having fallen so much in the last three months, given the possibility of a sharp rise on the back of any contract news.
The oily one

With a stock like this, the real danger, for mortal investers, is selling out now and buying back in when the charts / news etc. tell us to.
The result is to lose two sets of commission / dealing fees, one lot of stamp duty and two lots of Bid/Offer spread.
i can't justify that when my feeling is that when it does move, it will move quickly.
Which way? Dunno. Neither does anyone else.

To be honest, pad, i rarely read any newspaper, unless I can see it through the salt and vinegar.
Had I not been looking for a house, i would not have seen the Share tip in Saturdays paper, and Had I not been chatting to my imaginary friend, I would still be blissfully ignorant of WM selling up in Germany.
