It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

Chris Carson - 28 May 2013 22:52 - 1814 of 6918

GF - Try and get something right mate...........FORE

goldfinger - 29 May 2013 02:26 - 1815 of 6918

Some of those veterans look as though they were around when Cardiff won the Cup in 1927 !

Cardiff new Premier League kit unveiled today , biggest shock will be if it's blue but we live in hope.

Dil - 29 May 2013 14:21 - 1817 of 6918

Just seen the new kit and it's still red and looks feckin awful.

goldfinger - 29 May 2013 14:34 - 1818 of 6918

ohhhhhhhh I bet Chris would look lovely in red.

Stan - 29 May 2013 15:07 - 1819 of 6918

Oh you mean this one Dil? http://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/article/wearecardiffcity-201314-kit-visuals-839777.aspx Agreed is.. very very red -):

Dil - 29 May 2013 15:24 - 1820 of 6918

Lol yeah that's the one. Already uproar on the Cardiff City message boards but a lot of it is to do with the red shorts that are a different shade to the red top. It is now being rumoured that they are not the actual shorts and we'll be playing in white ones.

Either way it's a shite shirt , I'll wait to see what the blue one looks like it can't be any worse.

Dil - 29 May 2013 16:08 - 1821 of 6918

From Dailymail.co.uk :

Cardiff fans mock 'hideous' two-tone red home strip for first Premier League campaign

After winning promotion to the Premier League for the first time, Cardiff City will want to look the part.

But the new vivid red home strip unveiled by kit makers Puma today has been roundly panned by fans.

Bafflingly, the shorts are a different shade of red to the shirt and socks, and Bluebirds fans took to Twitter to label it 'shocking,' 'atrocious' and 'hideous' within moments of the launch.

Others went further, calling it 'the worst kit in the history of the club'.

Dil - 29 May 2013 17:17 - 1822 of 6918

They were the polite comments mine didn't get quoted.

goldfinger - 29 May 2013 22:56 - 1824 of 6918

Rooney again looking overweight tonight and losing his false hair....... BUT........... more and more he looks like an attacking midfielder than a striker these days having lost his pace in the last 2 years.

If I was Moyes Id sit him down and point this out, get him to play as an attacking midfielder (Scholes replacement?) and buy a speedy striker and a anchor midfielder to protect the back four at UTD.

ohhhhhh Chris I bet you look dapper in UTD RED.

Chris Carson - 30 May 2013 23:22 - 1825 of 6918

Chris Carson - 31 May 2013 00:38 - 1831 of 6918

gf - stop, got a bowls match tomorrow better get to my bed, 60 in December qualify for a bus pass ffs, where did the years go? Don't feel any different to when I was 16. I was actually born in Manchester and supported Man U as did all my family. But guess what, then I grew up! :O) Lived and worked in Liverpool and first watched EFC in 1963 aged 9, first match EFC v Man U and remember as if it was yesterday Bobby Charlton getting the ball on centre circle and dribbling round three Everton players and the Everton fans applauding him. But then I witnessed 'The Golden Vision' Alex Young what a player. Evertonion ever since mate. Don't know what's happened to you, you seem hell bent on making a prick of yourself on this and your own thread, prove me wrong eh!

goldfinger - 31 May 2013 01:23 - 1832 of 6918

60?........ you dont act it. You act like a 16 year old kid.

I just respond in a like for like way.

You try and play silly devils with me and I play silly devils with you.

Dont throw stones if you cant defend yourself when I throw boulders back.

Dil - 31 May 2013 01:26 - 1833 of 6918
