Deary me, its getting too easy to expose him as the fraud he let everyone know he was on other boards.
Pray tell, my know everything friend, how you could possibly know that, when you have no idea which study i was referring to?
Could it be you are making things up? Or trying to cause trouble in your own silly little primary school ways again? Or jumping to conclusions as you have on every other post made?
Whichever. it does not look good. I would also submit that timing the market is considerably easier than timing an individual stock. SEO announcing a contract worth 30million would have virtually zero effect on the markets but would, undoubtedly cause the SP to vanish skywards.
Try again.

automatic - 31 Jul 2006 15:04 - 18143 of 27111

same as last week buys outnumber sells SP dosn't move , get one sell of 30,000 SP goes down , it is just a pity that MAM and TIM keep putting these trades as buys and getting it wrong all the time

'' the bulk of my investing is handled by professionals. The remaining part of my portfolio is largely in blue chips ''

If it was left to you to invest it, you would be broke by now. blue chips are a no brainer so they should suit you sir, 95% of the time they come good long term.

cynic - 31 Jul 2006 15:05 - 18145 of 27111

free world ..... this BB has far more interest than SEO, though sometimes this company of very questionable worth and value seems to dominate the postings.

hewittalan6 - 31 Jul 2006 15:09 - 18146 of 27111

Jumping to more conclusions!!! This is like spearing a fish in a barrell!!
How, my dear little conclusion jumping friend, do you think i amassed sufficient funds to make it possible to hand over a large amount of money to professionals, still invest a large amount myself, and enjoy a flutter on the minnows and have time to sit and while away an afternoon laughing at you???
Success with the few quid I had when I started.
Now run along and try it on with someone of your own intelectual abilities. I'll find Jordans website for you.

aldwickk - 31 Jul 2006 15:11 - 18147 of 27111

Are you saying that this weighted study of professional fund managers were not referring to the market as a whole ?

cynic - 31 Jul 2006 15:12 - 18148 of 27111

come on children .... cut throwing the toys

aldwickk - 31 Jul 2006 15:15 - 18149 of 27111

'' I'll find Jordans website for you '' that will be easy its on your favourites list.

hewittalan6 - 31 Jul 2006 15:17 - 18150 of 27111

I am saying no such thing. Unlike others I jump to no conclusions, I do not offer unsubstantiated rumour, I do not calim victories that are not mine, I do own up to bad mistakes and I make no assumptions as to peoples reasons for investing the way they do.
I do not remember the details of that particular study, but I am fairly certain that predicting the market, or sections of it is simple when compared to predicting and timing one single company. I would be very suprised though if the study did refer to the market as a whole, because most fund managers specialise in sections of it.

samon - 31 Jul 2006 15:21 - 18151 of 27111

Where is our " peace and love " logo?

Correct statement -" this BB has for more interest than seo" - But this happens to be THE SEO thread.

Come on Guys ( and may be Girls from a comment a short while ago), there is enough fighting going on in other areas - lets get back to a lighter note.

Sooner have your 'shady' jokes .

Tea and biscuits anyone? Large Brandy on its way .

aldwickk - 31 Jul 2006 15:22 - 18152 of 27111

Alan,

Post them up and i will knock them down, its so easy LOL

hewittalan6 - 31 Jul 2006 15:36 - 18153 of 27111

Run clean out of anything to knock have you?
I wonder why.....................
Perhaps its due to my knowledge of your history and the very weak way you leave your self a mile wide everytime you post.
Anyway. As the man says, Enough. i have enough on my plate with the 3 kids at home for the holidays without having to deal with another one on here.

aldwickk - 31 Jul 2006 15:50 - 18154 of 27111

I am feeling a bit sorry for you it was not a even match, so i will let you have the last word.

greekman - 31 Jul 2006 15:53 - 18155 of 27111

As Samon has asked, lets give it a rest. We are all supposed to be grownups, lets behave like it. Most of us I am sure are above this 'Must answer back attitude'.

Oilywag - 31 Jul 2006 16:18 - 18156 of 27111

How's this for diverting attention away from the slanging match?

Who would like to guess the date on which page number 1000 is reached on this board? And to make it really interesting (gosh I'm struggling here) what's the SEO share price gonna be on that day?

I'd say 16th September to reach page 1000 and who knows what the price will be?

The oily one (pouring oil on troubled waters)

hewittalan6 - 31 Jul 2006 16:21 - 18157 of 27111

I'll tell you on about page 1001 ;-)
Alan

Oilywag - 31 Jul 2006 16:22 - 18158 of 27111

And Alan who won the 2006 Football World Cup?

The oily one

hewittalan6 - 31 Jul 2006 16:26 - 18159 of 27111

William Hills. They win every bloody sporting event!!
The world Cup was a victory for sensible refereeing, wonderful leadership from FIFA and sportsmanship.........................not.
What about the cricket though? proper game played by proper men.
i got my teeth chipped and a mega fat lip on Saturday, and did I roll around the pitch in fits of agony???
Well, yes I did, actually. But I wasn't trying to get anyone sent off!!
Alan

In the interests of harmony............leave it driver, it's over. But thanks anyway for putting it so succinctly.
BTW did you gat a look at HYC from your tips page? Not too late for a steady long termer.
Alan
