THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

And if the reasons are not government strategy?

Fred1new - 10 Sep 2012 14:30 - 18159 of 81564

What government strategy?

Have they a new model or are they working without a model.

ahoj - 10 Sep 2012 14:34 - 18160 of 81564

Haystack,
Cuts with eyes closed is wrong.

They should stimulate growth while balancing expenditures & strengthening fundamentals ... The couple cannot stay in their job if they continue supporting each other closed eyes.

I was alluding to the fact that the BBC now think that 35-49 is middle aged! :-)

Fred1new - 10 Sep 2012 15:53 - 18162 of 81564

Ahoj,

They are winking at each other and sitting in jobs which they are being overpaid for doing.

It is a pity that retribution is out of favour.

What this present bunch did when previously making in their false, fraudulent expenses claims is nothing in comparison with the harm they are presently doing to the UK's long term economy and its society.

They are committed only to protecting themselves and what they possess.

==========================

S,

35-49 is middle age for me.

Sorry, A and G.

Hmmm - criminal or kinky - Dubai-bound passenger caught in India smuggling monkey in his trousers

NEW DELHI // A man attempting to board a flight with a monkey in his underwear has been arrested at New Delhi's international airport.

The man, who was arrested along with two other travellers, had arrived from Bangkok on Sunday and was about to take a connecting flight to Dubai on Jet Airways, the Press Trust of India reported today.

Is Alds on the pop, or was he having an orgasm?

Fred1new - 11 Sep 2012 10:06 - 18169 of 81564

Ps.

I wonder if Cameron will claim this as a victory for the Coalition, or try to hide behind this event, as well as "his" successful "Olympics".

The failing economy will be back on the front pages again. Oh, dear!

When was the fall of the Roman Empire?

For long time, Apple was the only riser dominating the US market. Now, the rest are going to join in. I agree, Apple can only rise further but not as much as other good companies, IMO. Watch AMD and Intel today and ...

A small dark brown Richard - Richard III dig: 'Strong evidence' bones are lost king

Archaeologists searching for the grave of Richard III have said "strong circumstantial evidence" points to a skeleton being the lost king.

The English king died at the battle of Bosworth in 1485.

A dig under a council car park in Leicester has found remains with spinal abnormalities and a "cleaved-in skull" that suggest it could be Richard III.

At last they have found Lord Lucan.
