Andy..so are you inclined to believe the Times online rather than an official notification from the LSE?

British bulls 6/1/06

New Millenium Resources NL
Daily Commentary

Our system posted a SELL CONFIRMED today. The previous BUY recommendation that was confirmed was made on 19.12.2005 (20) days ago, when the stock price was 0.8800. Since then NML has fallen -5.68% .

Were you eager to sell your shares? Without doubt, it was the right time to do so. Maybe, you were even courageous enough for a short sale. If you have done so, it is even better.

If not and you still have shares, it is not very late. The next session will give you the opportunity to sell them at a suitable price.

takahe - 08 Jan 2006 18:43 - 1821 of 1909

short sale...! British Bulls is sometimes Sooo ridiculous

rwakeley - 08 Jan 2006 19:18 - 1822 of 1909

Not a shareholder here. Thought you guys may like to know that Shane Healy is being interviewed tomorrow at 12.35 CET on CNBC Europe.

best wishes

stockdog - 08 Jan 2006 20:00 - 1823 of 1909

The shares can all have been admitted to trading without the proposed buyer(s) having acquired them - they remain issued, admitted, but unpaid for. Dangerous to try to fit the facts to "normal" constructs by ignoring some of them, when the facts may all be true and not mutually exclusive - if worrying.

As ever, total incompetence by the company and its officer abounds.

Andy - why would there have to be an RNS before positive news? The share is suspended, so price-sensitive news does not matter.

Andy - 08 Jan 2006 22:13 - 1825 of 1909

bundu,

That would be the RNS required to unsuspend the share, that is if I'm correct in thinking it's the lack of notification from the placing that has caused the suspension in the first place!

They will have to RNS the new large holders, before the suspension is lifted IMO.

takahe - 08 Jan 2006 22:37 - 1826 of 1909

hi bundu..haven't seen you here for a while.
At least Shane Healy must have something to say....perhaps there will be an RNS in the morning, with more information

takahe - 08 Jan 2006 22:38 - 1827 of 1909

stockdog....was that what happened with EPD? They couldn't get their shares paid for?

Andy - 08 Jan 2006 22:55 - 1828 of 1909

takahe,

are you going to the AFD AGM?

takahe - 08 Jan 2006 23:14 - 1829 of 1909

Hi Andy...I haven't decided yet..

takahe - 08 Jan 2006 23:15 - 1830 of 1909

a poster on the other side makes the point that the CNBC is CET time which is 11.35am here.

takahe - 09 Jan 2006 15:25 - 1831 of 1909

Well...after a bit of trouble, I tracked down Nick Hasell and had a chat. Guess what? He doesn't know for sure that the placing failed at all! He said he had found a bit of an information vacuum because he hadn't been able to get a hold of Gary Middleton or Healy and he had assumed that the placing had failed

stockdog - 09 Jan 2006 19:10 - 1832 of 1909

sounds fair enough by anyone's standard of fair reporting!

anyone hear anything of interest on the CMBC item?

Andy - 09 Jan 2006 22:44 - 1833 of 1909

takahe,

If that's true then he should hang his head in shame!

I at least expected him to have had a source, not to make a wrong assumption.

NO RNS today, so I expect they are thrying to collate the figures from the placing.

takahe - 10 Jan 2006 11:15 - 1834 of 1909

Andy..'if it's true'? ....here is his email and you can verify what I have said...
nick.hasell@thetimes,co.uk

The placing may be one buyer, for all we know so far.
I emailed the article and my conversation with Hasell to SH and got a polite email of thanks so he knows about the article.

Is this the end for NML?

New Millennium Resources Ltd

The Company is seeking to appoint a new Nominated Adviser and Broker without
delay. Should a Nominated Adviser not be appointed by the 7th February
2006, the London Stock Exchange Plc will cancel the admission of the Company's

takahe - 10 Jan 2006 13:04 - 1836 of 1909

From ADVFN,
'Just phoned SH -

He has just confirmed that the 5m has been placed. That is not the problem.

It is a regulatory issue one part of which is the identification/possible announcements relating to placees holdings.

He does not expect the AIM listing to be cancelled as the last part of the latest RNS indicates if no nomad is appointed. That bit has to be in.

He said await announcements.

The NOMAD going could be a reflection of the fact that they have not been doing their job correctly in advising/liaising with the company.'

takahe - 10 Jan 2006 13:06 - 1837 of 1909

My own personal experience of the Nomad's office from the other day is that they are absolute idiots.
