what are the 11 million trades just gone through? It seems quite relevant whether they are sells or buys. there was a similar activity late in the day yesterday. Is someone trying to disguise some big buys or some dumping of shares?

tamiltiger - 22 Jun 2005 16:44 - 1833 of 3776

They are buys because offer/bid prices are strong.

peterstilgoe - 22 Jun 2005 16:48 - 1834 of 3776

Buys 99% the one def was & the other pretty sure was aswell

paulmasterson1 - 22 Jun 2005 17:04 - 1835 of 3776

Hi All,

Well, I said they were going to go up, and my basis was MM buys and BIG 'T' buys since Friday last week, and they were buying because like me, they see YOO as a bargain, and also I expect they too think the drop from 9p to 3.275p on thursday, was totally unwarranted, based on one division underperforming, one division of many, with the rest going very well, and a monthly profit within 3 months.

I shall put this down in my book as a good call by moi :)

All those who were claiming 'bankrupt soon' and 1p, well we all know how wrong they are ....

Cheers,
PM

By volume ROFL!

paulmasterson1 - 22 Jun 2005 19:21 - 1838 of 3776

Hi All,

I am enjoyng this 0.25p average rise per day, every 0.25p is worth 576.14 to me, although I bet there are others here with bigger holdings, (like my workmate who bought the 500,000 at 8:14:59 at 4.25p) that make mine look like pocket money, but the fact is, it's going up as I said it would, and at 0.25p per day, it will only take me another 15 days to get to my initial 8p target, it could be less, once everyonme else realises the way it's going, and jump in for a few percent themselves.

Cheers,
PM

Moon Set to Offer Spectacular Optical Illusion

By Simon Baker, PA

Britain will tonight be treated to a spectacular show in the evening sky when the full moon will appear bigger to the naked eye than it has done for several years, experts said.

The Earths main companion should cloud permitting give the illusion of a massive glowing sphere when it rises above the horizon shortly after 10.30pm.

Astronomers say the illusion will be caused partly due to the recent passing of the summer solstice, when the moon is at its lowest point in the sky and the sun at its highest.

This factor has been boosted by the moon being at a particular point in a 18.6-year cycle of tilted orbits around the Earth, which also determines its height in the sky.

But anyone frightened by tonights sight has been reminded that the show is merely an optical illusion thought to be associated with the human eyes interpretation of the horizon.

Robert Massey, astronomer at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London, said: The further north in the UK that you are the more dramatic the effect is likely to be.

It will appear unusually big and of course it isnt really but that is the optical illusion.
