The wildest and wackiest thought is that Martin is diarised to meet WM's Mr Big, or Persecos Mr Big at 11 am EST for the pre-arranged signing of something or other. The RNS then could not be released until the formality was over, but WM would have to release it immediately as the markets would still be open across the pond.
Nice, but overly optimistic thought.

Nice thought Alan, in fact a veritalble Ovaltine moment. All nice an warm and secure with sweet dreams.
What's happened to EWRobson? Is he away on holiday. Not that Ive got anything against the rest of yer, but I do miss his sage comments (without any implication or insinuation to what I said above to Alan)

Alan, would WM have to issue their own RNS ? This would, after all, be quite small beer to them and just another day to day trading operation.

It could be just an announcement regarding Biodegradable airbags.

Dunno Tony, but I would have thought they would want to make as much capital as possible from any sort of deal. They do want to be everyones best friend.
Just been reading back to a post by Pinnacle in which he brimmed over with confidence that a big, and very good, surprise was not that far away.
Hope he is right.

I hope Pinnacle isn't a Biodegradeable airbag. I have no reason to doubt his word. I'm ready to celebrate by spending my last few pennies on a BigMac.

If he is an airbag, I hope he is biodegrable so that he disappears completely and very soon.
If he is not an airbag, then in this one instance, I am happy for him to be of petro plastic.

Bloody, sodding typical.
Expecting an RNS that could gain or lose me a mint (thinking of the book - not the SP) and suddenly I get a call to say my car is ready for collection following its annual service!!!!!1 AAAARRRGGGHHHH!

You want to be careful with that, Kim.
Tupping meant something very different to the ancients. In the days before they invented spelling.

I can't believe that will all the trading activity earlier today there has not been a single trade since 14.27 this afternoon on ii.
I would have thought that there would have been a plethora of trades in both directions as people speculated on whether the news - if indeed there is any RNS - is good or bad.

Bet you two can tell how many paperclips you've both used this week and how much they cost.
