Adie...very nice (GMC) no I missed that one still I am happy as I have GFM, VTI and HYR all bought a week ago and all in a nice profit ;-) The only other money spare at the mo is for SEO dips.

Di: welcome back - missed you! Should have guessed the reason. Surprised you haven't got them playing the market yet. Never too young to make their first million! SEO easing back as expected. Don't expect anything dramatic. Its not too late to have a flutter on GMC even though up another 15% so far today: stock shortage; bid rumoured from Sportingbet; top casino internet portal via Hitwise; new Poker portal; Simon Cawkwell a 'declared interest' holder with prediction of 60p. Have taken out a new position today. My problem is that I have to take 20K out in the next day or two to pay deposit for daughter's house in Phuket - It'll be great staying there though in November. Good trading!

Hiya Eric...You are too good a father...it could get very expensive paying for all your children's deposits etc. GMC looks good but I don't want my fingers in too many pies and I could have eaily have missed the boat with it anyway. I am happy to stick with shares like SEO that I know will go up long term as well as in the shorter term.

GMC have done well - I can't see 60p though. However I missed this and can't go there now. Another happy situation - NMI - they look good - they went up 34% on Friday and are up 20% again today so far - they are still very cheap though and their future looks bright too! Enjoy

I know there is little comparison between PET and SEO, but reading the threads on the bb's, reminds me of what was being posted just before PET went into free fall, posts such as " we will get this contract then we will be awarded others ,its as good as a done deal" and " this time next year we will be millionaires " also lots of investers being very overweight in the share with both companys share price way above their assets.

Not that impressed with your comparison of SEO with PET; what you say could imply to a great many quoted companies. Your last post (warning!) from the other side presented a very strong case for SEO with highly relevant and unique technology which is taking the market by storm. The primary issue with ASDA is how much they will pay to have 1 year of excusivity before Tesco et al. join the fray. I suspect you either buy at 14p on the basis that the deal will be done or 20p - 30p when it actually is done.

Nice one Eric, why would Asda have been so heavily involved with this to back out now, they know the kind of figures presented so far and can see the benefits of the system, only question now is what price exclusivity for a time-frame?. Aldwickk, people are mainly overweight through buying at 4-6p and watching it grow before the bandwagoners joined in. I'm not selling out now just because I'm deemed overweight!!!

I did say there is little comparison between the two , I was mainly refering to the mood among both PET and SEO investers at the time of waiting for news of a big company changing contract.

That's OK, Aldwick. I was in on the PET euphoria, but the difference is palpable. PET was clutching at straws, whereas SEO has done excellent reearch and development, appear to have handled the marketing imrpessively and we are awaiting the rewards in terms of lucrative contracts. Nor are ASDA the only fish in the sea. They can only handle so much business so are probably perfectly happy to hold Tesco and the rest over to next year - and get paid for delaying them!

Re the timing question, an argument has occurred to me why this won't be resolved until 11th April. ASDA, with their suppliers, are gearing up already for the new equipment. SEO are gearing up for delivery. Nothing is being held up. Given a 1-year exclusivity deal, its better for ASDA that it starts on 11th April than 1st March, say - an extra 6 weeks! Hope I'm right because it allows other situations to be exploited before replenishing the SEO supplies. What sayest thou, andysmith, stockdog and frenchie?

I sayeth verily that we need to be a bit patient.

There's been lots of exciting movement up in the SP recently from 8 to 14 roughly deservedly on the back of good news about ASDA trials and proposed exclusive deal.

The results announced today would normally have clipped the SP's wings rather more severely than the 0.62 fall seen. So the recent good news and anticipation of more is offering good support.

But the good news and anticipation (especially this) is in the price until ASDA deal is signed and the terms of it made (partially) public.

I don't see the problem with waiting at the level we've got for the full 60 days. No one's going anywhere, stop fretting.

If I'm wrong and the share goes into decline, we will all make our indivudal decisions about stopping our losses or buying more on the dip.

Look at the pimple that Black Monday in October 1997 now seems on the overall chart! Got to expect a little bit of volatility on non-trading stocks.

evening all. very pleasantly surprised at how little we dropped today,that can only be good. i agree with sd , normally such crap results would have sent a share into freefall. i think people may be starting to see the light , especially as seo have shown they are not a one product company and that the rf technology can be tweaked to suit new markets.its all good ,folks.

I expected a chance below 13p but each time it went to below 14p the buyers came in so is this the new support??? Last year would have seen >20% wiped off the sp so as SD/Bosley says maybe the market has woken up to the future SEO.
I still think 14p is ridiculously cheap compared to the future and I like Erics point, a 1year deal would provide time/income before expanding further. I also like the clear references to Walmart US and Germany. The more you read the RNS the more excited I get as so many things going on. Think I'll have to take some more, only thing that stopped me today was considering a quick buck on GMC but I thought I'd missed the boat and in the end did nothing so not a bad day, could have done better with SEO but much worse with GMC.

i agree with you andys. just had another read of the results and it does get more exciting. frog pack looks like it was made on blue peter but if it works as well as they say it does , then its another income stream for us. it does sound like everything is close to commercialisation so 2005 should be the start of many , many wonderful rnss' telling us about new deals for each different product as it reaches the marketplace. headspinningly fabulous!!!

Yes, bosley, a good steady as she goes kind of day which I think suggests strong support at this level now. Most probable future direction is up - substantially - on good news which directors seem quite good at placing at regular intervals.
