Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Talking of men on bikes, I hope you all wear your cycling helmets when going out on your bikes. My brother was smashed into from behind the police believe between 50mph - 60mph by a BLIND (as thats all he can be as he was on a straight road) driver.
The helmet does not look a pretty sight crumpled and smashed in but has saved his life. Hes been in hospital for a week with a cracked leg as well as a sewn up back but should make a full recovery and get back to work before the new year.
Very easy not to go out with one, but he is still here due to his.

C C if you had read my post you would have noticed I did not agree with the cuts to bring in more useless C/O who have no power we need a strong police force .
and I have e mailed the met over the sacking of a officer who was a bit rough with a person when the riots where going on it was a bit unfortunate it was him.
these things happen but the police need strong men like him and we must expect
innocent people sometimes get hurt but they save a lot more innocent people than they hurt.
my question is this why did they report this to the reporter in minutes .
in all companys you report it to your boss to take acction .
in my view this officer broke the rules .why did he not do that .
and when are the police officers that sold info to the press going to be
charged with corruption the reports have been charged for a officer to take cash is a scandal .

Being called a pleb is not a big deal. It derives from plebian. A plebian is just a commoner. In ancient Rome there were the Patricians (the ruling class) and the plebians (the rest). We still have the word - plebicite meaning a vote of the population.

But when a fairly high ranking "Con " Party/Government member utters it .. It speaks for itself.

Haystack - Fabulous, many thanks for that 'nugget' of info. Did you google that yourself or kidnap a 3 year old to do it for you?

Hays,
The remark made sounds like the arrogance of youth.
Does that mean he hasn't groan up and/or does it mean he is too immature for his government role?
(apol grown)
Forgot, he fits in nicely with the present Cabinet. Bring back Norm he will sort it out!

some one paying 6% of there pay on 250 aweek and the company put in 6% plus 12 tax will after 30 years at todays values with friends provident could get around £30 pounds aweek . just taking them out of getting benefits . plus they would pay tax on this so would be worse off than some one who pays out nothing.
I am retired so it does not afect me . but it worthless putting money in to a PENSION WITH FREINDS LIFE. I have done the figures out of there figures not mine.

Is Mitchell another tory PR man?
He certainly knows how "to turn a mole hill into a mountain".
He seems to have forgotten his mission was supposed to be managing party "problems", not creating them.
Perhaps, he is demonstrating tory management skills.
Mind looking at party leadership reserves, I suppose Cameron made the best of a bad lot when he appointed him as his chief whip.
I think Miss Whiplash would have been a more appropriate appointment for this cabinet.
Perhaps, he is still on David Davis’s PM election team for part leadership.
