THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

N,

Are you suggesting he was lucky or unlucky?

Fred1new - 24 Sep 2012 14:09 - 18392 of 81564

Is Mitchell another tory PR man?

He certainly knows how "to turn a mole hill into a mountain".

He seems to have forgotten his mission was supposed to be managing party "problems", not creating them.

Perhaps, he is demonstrating tory management skills.

Mind looking at party leadership reserves, I suppose Cameron made the best of a bad lot when he appointed him as his chief whip.

I think Miss Whiplash would have been a more appropriate appointment for this cabinet.
Perhaps, he is still on David Davis’s PM election team for part leadership.

Mn, Are you prepared to share with us why your posts keep getting removed? -):

TANKER - 24 Sep 2012 14:39 - 18394 of 81564

Asian sex gangs were able to groom, pimp and traffic girls across the UK for more than a decade while authorities failed to publicly acknowledge the problem was happening, confidential documents reveal.

A dossier of internal police, social services and intelligence reports shows that agencies in South Yorkshire were aware that vulnerable girls were being abused, but a catalogue of alleged crimes were not prosecuted.

In one case, a white girl who was sexually abused by an Asian gang from the age of 12 was offered lessons in Urdu and Punjabi by her local council after her ordeal.
so the police and the council turned a blind eye to these crimes so why are they still in post and why have they not been charged with abetting a crime .
you can not believe that these so called people are there to protect the children and did nothing because they might be called racist. action must be taken to remove these from service .they are a disgrace.

TANKER - 24 Sep 2012 14:41 - 18395 of 81564

you will not find this on the BBC they dont cover this crime .
they only cover if it is the other way

Who was the head of the division who knew about this?
I think they should be punished harshly.... A couple of years in prison, which can be sometimes described as a hotel, is not enough.

Where are we heading to this today?

This_is_me - 24 Sep 2012 16:18 - 18404 of 81564

My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day. He has his food prepared for him. He can eat whenever he wants.

His meals are provided at no cost to him.

He visits the Doctor once a year for his checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise.

For this he pays nothing, and nothing is required of him.

He lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than he needs, but he is not required to do any upkeep.

He makes no contribution to the running or maintenance of the house.

If he makes a mess, someone else cleans it up.

He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep. He receives these accommodations absolutely free.

He is living like a King, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever.

All of his costs are picked up by others who go out, work hard, and earn a living every day.

I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head.

I think my dog is an IMMIGRANT

_63090961_016073982-1.jpgChina's first aircraft carrier enters service

The 300m (990ft) Liaoning - named after the province where it was refitted - is a refurbished Soviet ship purchased from the Ukraine.

China said the vessel, which has undergone extensive sea trials, would increase its capacity to defend state interests.

For now the carrier has no operational aircraft and will be used for training.

The Liaoning was formally handed over to the navy at ceremony attended by top Chinese leaders at Dalian Port, state-run Xinhua news agency said.
