Steady on guys, don't get all excited. As pointed out, the English is poor. My interpretation is: She's not had any information on the GS conversions and is not likely to until the products hit the shelves.
"Unfortunately no information has been released on this at the moment, until "nearer the time it will be in stores"

Looks Like Sylvia is playing catch-up:
I too got a response to an e-mail I sent on 28th July. My query:
From: .............
Sent: 28 July 2006 00:27
To: investor-relations
Subject: Greenseal contracts
Importance: High
Dear Sir/Madam,
In an article of 10th May 2006, Martin Wagner stated "We will be placing the first contracted machine in the next eight weeks"
Can you confirm whether the "first" contracted machine has been placed and if so when?
The full extract is as follows:
Stanelco in US talks on biodegradeable polymers
By Greg Pitcher 10/05/2006
The UK company is hoping for big sales into the US retail market.
10 May 2006 UK company Stanelco is holding talks about its Starpol biodegradeable materials with six extrusion and thermoforming companies in the US, which supply packaging to a major supermarket and a top fast-food manufacturer.
Stanelco is hoping to license its Starpol technology to the suppliers in return for a share of the profit.
Chief executive Martin Wagner told PRW.com: This supermarket alone could order hundreds of thousands of tonnes of material, and we do not have the capacity, so we are talking to its suppliers about licensing them our technology.
There is slower progress in Stanelcos Greenseal technology. Deals were signed for the radio frequency sealing technology in July 2005, but Stanelco admits it has still not made its first delivery.
Wagner said: We were slightly nae thinking it would be easy to retrofit machines. We had to buy replacement machines in the end which took three months but now we are up and running. We will be placing the first contracted machine in the next eight weeks.
Regards
The reply:
Thank you for your email. My apologies for the delay in replying. We have been experiencing problems with our IT system.
Machines have been retrofitted successfully in our development environment for three manufacturers. They are in various stages of testing and acceptance with the ASDA suppliers.
Best regards
Sylvia

Your question was simple "Can you confirm whether the "first" contracted machine has been placed and if so when?".
The reply is a waffle around and avoids any form of answer to your straight question.
Sylvia's reply is just a continuation of SEO's smoke and mirrors approach to information and is getting very very tedious. And late too!
What on earth is wrong with a straight answer? Anyone?

Tony,
I'm no longer surprised by the SEO waffle!
I only hope that there's plenty going on in the background which will bear fruit!

there is no way she could answer a question like that, as it is price sensitive. I have a feeling that GS is commercialised but they want a big order to go with the announcement. They know that the market is demanding orders now, towards the estimated 200, and simply saying that it is now commercialised will be just more delayed news.

SSanebs,
I agree that would be a very good reason for lack of any announcement as yet, and the commercialization of one machine alone would probably not be sufficient to warrant a RNS.
Just hope that is the reason.

Just heard on BBC News that the environmental Lobby is putting even more pressure on Supermarkets to cut waste.
Due to this Tesco have just announced that they will offer a reward program to shoppers who re-use their plastic carrier bags.
The latest figures show we use 8 billion such bags per year in this country alone.
Be nice if all supermarket go even further into the environmental trend and go for as many biodegradable products as possible. This should please the lobbyists even more. SEO products of course.

Following the lead of others, i have just e-mailed Asda. the mail is simply a load of old baloney about my commitment to green issues and asking why, if they are committed to reducing packaging waste they have not introduced biodegradable packaging, or if they intend to do so.
No product names, no clue that my interest is any other than green. Just wondering if the reply will let slip a hint or two.
I will let you all know.

Anybody help me out here. I have Interactive Investor's level 1 real time streaming.
Between 8.44 and 8.48 there were 13 trades totalling around 457,000 shares, the majority being buys. And no trade since then according to Interactive.
I know that SEO's share price is now on the SETS system, but are these trades held up so that MM can manipulate the price?

Don't know the answer directly, and I don't know the mechanism, but even a casual glance at yesterdays trading showed what looked like manipulation. The buy price rose every few seconds to 5.2p only to be immediately dropped to 5p.
Today, the spread was 1% or less until after those trades you mention and then suddenly rose to 5% plus.
i accept that an automated system can produce these results, but it all seems a little convenient for the traders.
The question I ask myself is not how, but why?

Mmmm.....
Seems like manipulation to me as well Alan
Just seen 400K bought - no sells - in about three minutes and the price drops by .14p.
There's nowt as queer as the market!
Makes you wonder how safe it is to put a limit price on your trades!

The price for almost all of yesterday was in the region of 4.95 - 5.00, so whether it was a buy or sell, we will probably never know.
The figure suggests buy, but the way the sp dropped immediately back to 5p the moment anyone tried to raise the ante suggests a sell.
Who knows. Yesterdays news now.

Back to an earlier question re: Starpol 3000 FDA approval. It took 125 days for the announcement of FDA approval of Starpol 2000 from the earlier announcement stating it had European approval and fruit & veg in the USA {Starpol 2000: 12th Oct '05 to 14th Feb '06, [125 days]. Starpol 3000: 2nd May '06 AGM statement to ???}. So by simple reasoning, I'd say we'd need to count at least 120 days from the Starpol 3000 announcement, which would take us to September.
