It's OK, Socs, they've gone. Cup of tea and a slice of cake? How are things? I hope Mum is still making it clear who's boss!

Things seem OK at present. Tea and cake will do nicely thank you. Mater is as well as can be expected, as they say. She really is very poorly though but the old spirit pops up every now and then. Starting to take food and drink again rather than relying on drips. Daily report due about 19:00 today.
Still happy with DYS, I wish all my shares were as good.

I'm pleased she'd still fighting and showing an interest in sherry trifle! Put a bit more sherry in the drip and she'll perk up, I'm sure.
I've got to go back and have another (Grrh!) operation on my ears on Friday because of a hospital-acquired-infection that won't bloody shift since the last op. in Dec. Will they admit liability??? Yeah, right!? But I have got them to agree to a different hospital this time, so that's an admission of a sort, I suppose.
I promised I would try and get DYS back to where it was, didn't I? It's so weird that the price is going up because of a completely different company's news, isn't it?!

Maybe we should open a room in here for medical procedures, we have plenty of stuff available for the alleviation of pain ;-) I know where I would rather be if I was unwell...
Socs good to hear your Mums still fighting.
P, hope they sort you out this time ;-)

Fundi, hope you get you plans through soon, someone advised me to put in multiple versions if you think there might be a problem and make them all slightly different, also 'reserved rights' are apparently very useful.
Indiana, welcome back, make yourself at home, watch out for Big Al and Chocolat, they keep arguing over the hammock.

we are submitting 3 different versions, a real fallback, an expected and a hopeful!!! worst case is they will approve the fallback case and then we will resubmit for adjustments - hope it doesnt come to this but with planners you never know

too true spaceman
when i spoke to the senior planning officer he told me one of the main reasons he was refusing it was the front dormer was too large. he agreed to reallocate the case to one of the planners - i spoke to him and he said he would recommend it for approval without me changing the size of the dormers as long as i made a few other adjustments. when i said what happened once he said yes he admitted that it would go back to the senior planning officer for sign off and that he couldnt guarantee that hed be happy with that - he basically said it was up to me what size i applied for, no guarantees despie me asking what the smallest acceptable size would be
if two people in the same process who sit 2 yds away from each other cant agree what is acceptable how has joe public got a chance - the whole process is too determinate on the planners personal opinions

I just popped in for a cocoa before bed. All this talk about energetic activities is tiring me out. I'd better have an early night.
