The main activity of Biofuels is the large scale production and exploitation of biodiesel and glycerine following the construction and commissioning of the initial plant.
Biodiesel is produced from vegetable oils and, as an environmentally friendly product, can make a significant contribution towards reducing green house gases and meeting Kyoto targets.

True - but I suspect they have had to convince the placees of the upcoming issue that they are heading down the home straight to production as announced by now. So I do not seriously anticipate any further delays.

Wow - my last post of 2 days ago now seems like a long time ago. I have reduced my holdings and may do again tomorrow if the trend continues. I'm certainly not buying until I see an uptrend again. Although a dilution seems to make sense, even the 230p purchase area could come under pressure. Agreed this should be much higher in a year/6 months, but I do not like sitting tight and seeing gains ebb away.

Looks like that announcement has rekindled some interest in BFC. I have jumped back on board at 250 this morning. Hope to enjoy a good rise on the day.

Good time to get back into DOO too (now retraced below 400p) which I have done to match the rights issue I got on BFC - keeping my pairing concept going.
63% take up I think is not bad - not great, but not bad. Gives support at 230p but not much higher.

I put more into DOO at 381.25 - not the best price of the last few days, but low enough to sit tight and wait for the next wave up.

Well done, stockdog as DOO has gone up about 10% today. I guess BFC will follow suit next week.

Stockdoggy-DOO !! When I saw your tip, I thought time to go go in at last. Then I saw the SP was up 10%, and again I'm thinking - too late again. Still looking to buy on a dip.

Gallick - anywhere below 400p is not a bad place to re-enter looking at medium term (say till Xmas or so). I timed it wrong - could have got in for 350 if I'd sat and watched every hour of every day. I wouldn't be surprised to see dips back below 400 before then, so keep watching - or set a text-message alert with your on-line broker if you can to save having to spend too much time watching the screen.
Good luck

RNS - Goldman Sachs notification of shares: now a 4.2% holding.
Can anyone say what sort of a change this represents. (I seem to have lost access to the mam major shareholders page.)
Thanks, Madison

Madison - you can check back on previous RNS shareholding announcements until you find the last GS %age. Bit tedious, but only takes about 5 minutes on the LSE Market News website.

Thank you stockdog. I was just being lazy - I'd been used to having access to the mam major shareholder's page, but this seems to have been withdrawn from me. Probably, like the live FTSE that I used to enjoy, I was never meant to get it!
Anyway, I have checked back to 01/03 as you suggested and as far as I can see there are no previous GS notifications. I assume that means they were previously under 3% and have now increased their holding. Of course on its own this is a meaningless piece of information - you need the whole picture and how it's changing...
Cheers, Madison

I too have lost access to Mam's more interesting pages on the Company site these last few days. I guess now it's no longer a beta issue where they wanted feed back, it's been restricted to Premium subscribers, not us mere groundlings - you cheap b******d Madison. LOL :)
