TULLOW OIL--stands for too low!! (TLW)

moneyplus - 14 Sep 2005 13:17

The CEO states Tullow sp is much too low and I bought in on the comments---todays results are excellent and I feel this one is being overlooked on here. check it out bargain hunters-I'd welcome some expert feedback!

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2009 09:15 - 185 of 906

Not looking very good.

A lot of weakness in oileys in general.

Short term support for TLW at 784p and then 772p but if these are hit we should close the recent gap up with at support at 732p.

One good thing it seems to have the MMs on its side.

Just been watching a flurry of sells and they were just deflected off. Sp seems to be getting a little stronger.

cynic - 11 Mar 2009 09:26 - 187 of 906

you're asleep .... live is 806/806.50 as i write

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2009 09:46 - 188 of 906

Ive got live. You posted 6 minutes after me.

Its in a more volatile state than its beta suggests.

Stan - 11 Mar 2009 09:54 - 189 of 906

Should't worry to much about prices at this time of the day boys.. it's not even 10 o' clock yet -):

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2009 10:02 - 190 of 906

Conference call doesnt seem to be going well Stan.

Sps dropped since its been going.

Stan - 11 Mar 2009 10:12 - 191 of 906

2 hours 10 mins into the day..don't worry about it.

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2009 10:51 - 192 of 906

Getting a right clobbering now, that confrence cant have gone too well.

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2009 11:26 - 193 of 906

784p resistance taken out now if 772p goes we could be on for a real gap down.

Balerboy - 11 Mar 2009 11:34 - 194 of 906

hope cynic is'nt on the whisky to numb the pain of his burnt fingers. lol

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2009 11:43 - 195 of 906

--it its gone.

The supports gone.

Potential gap down now all the way to 732p........... and possibly a lot more.

cynic - 11 Mar 2009 11:48 - 196 of 906

cynic is still comfortably in the money (b/e is 719 as it happens) and would seriously consider buying more if that wouldn't make him too much o'weight in them

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2009 12:19 - 197 of 906

Moneyplus should seriously consider changing the header to ...' Tullow-- stands for gone too far bloody low'.

I knew I shouldnt have listned to you cyners.

cynic - 11 Mar 2009 12:21 - 198 of 906

at what level did you buy?
i am certainly very comfortable with the company and suspect little more than profit-taking .... oilies, like miners, can move pretty sharply, as you may have noticed

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2009 12:23 - 199 of 906

Pulling your leg cyners.

cynic - 11 Mar 2009 12:26 - 200 of 906

i knew you weren't even having a poke with that digit of yours!
by the way, i am also back in PFC, which is still a cracking company and has landed yet another juicy contract

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2009 12:47 - 201 of 906

As PFC got promotion to the top flight... do we know yet cyners?.

cynic - 11 Mar 2009 13:36 - 202 of 906

not sure .... ask the IG boys; they may well know

goldfinger - 11 Mar 2009 14:40 - 203 of 906

Nope, Ive had a word but nothing.

Blimey cyners you half havent made a bum call on TLW over the last 24 hours.

Went out for an hour came back and took one look and thought it had dropped 140 ticks, silly me was looking at the light crude quote.......... gave me a shock though.

Got some good news for you bud, just storing it for a while, while the sp looks a bit more horny.

cynic - 11 Mar 2009 14:43 - 204 of 906

as i nsaid, still in the money with TLW, though rather less than it was ..... however, i still rate the stock very highly - which de facto means it will get slated in the papers tomorrow and by the experts (who lose money hand over fist themselves!)
