Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

PW,

There is slight problem at the moment which is affecting some of our level 2 customers - we hope to have this reolved shortly.

The issue which was affecting some of oue L 2 clients has now been resolved - if your L 2 is still not connected, please close down the browser and re open - this should clear any residual problems.

The problem with pound signs and apostrophes coming out as question marks has returned, not here but with a number of other posters, including your very own PJacobs, see poker thread. I seem to remember it was a misconfigured server somewhere?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 27 Mar 2004 13:52 - 1856 of 7315

Kayak,

I have seen this on Pauls poker thread - I am not in the office at th moment, but I will get the tech boys to take a look.

Moneyam. The April calendar, accessed via Research, is misleadingly headed MAY and has 31 days in it! Worked out what it was, but it will confuse anyone going to it for the first time.
Regards.

Maggot,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention - I will get Geoff to take a look.

Ian. The ex-div date of April 7 for DVSG is now wrong - the company issued a statement on Feb 26 saying it should be April 14 (got thjis from the news on the 'Quote' page).

Maggot - 31 Mar 2004 16:24 - 1861 of 7315

Ian. Disregard post 1859. The record date was altered to Apr 13 and I assumed ex-div was Apr 14. But Davis have sent me an e-mail saying it is April 7, as you have in research. Sorry for the error!!

As I understand it, on 2nd April 10 group TGR became Ashdene ASH.

I cannot get a chart for ASH although the trades are OK.

There is no joined up news to cover thsi transition.
Is there anything you can do to improve this situation?

Felix, Thanks.

I've just checked it out.

Red Underwing,
Yes, I know - that's when we started collecting data for it!
Best that can be done I'm afraid.

There's something funny going on with the data for the S&P 500 (epic S500). If you create a 1-year chart it only shows three months (April - June, don't know which year...). If you try to create a chart for a period of less than 1 year it can't find any data.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 06 Apr 2004 09:30 - 1870 of 7315

PeterG,

Felix is taking a look into this - thank you for letting us know.

Ian

Felix(MoneyAM) - 06 Apr 2004 16:24 - 1871 of 7315

PeterG,
I've just refreshed the historical data for S500.
We're currently lacking intraday data but this should be fixed soon,

I cannot get any prices after 15:00!
Charts go to close, so they apear OK.
No close prices appearing on my stock watch page where I still get yesterday's close!

Is it just me?
