Excellent day really, even though I missed the chance to top up below 14p!!
I expected a chance below 13p but each time it went to below 14p the buyers came in so is this the new support??? Last year would have seen >20% wiped off the sp so as SD/Bosley says maybe the market has woken up to the future SEO.
I still think 14p is ridiculously cheap compared to the future and I like Erics point, a 1year deal would provide time/income before expanding further. I also like the clear references to Walmart US and Germany. The more you read the RNS the more excited I get as so many things going on. Think I'll have to take some more, only thing that stopped me today was considering a quick buck on GMC but I thought I'd missed the boat and in the end did nothing so not a bad day, could have done better with SEO but much worse with GMC.

blimey. where did all those new people go? results day and its all so quiet. looks like its just the usual suspects left now.
i agree with you andys. just had another read of the results and it does get more exciting. frog pack looks like it was made on blue peter but if it works as well as they say it does , then its another income stream for us. it does sound like everything is close to commercialisation so 2005 should be the start of many , many wonderful rnss' telling us about new deals for each different product as it reaches the marketplace. headspinningly fabulous!!!

Yes, bosley, a good steady as she goes kind of day which I think suggests strong support at this level now. Most probable future direction is up - substantially - on good news which directors seem quite good at placing at regular intervals.

Asda trials move in-store
Stanelco PLC, the RF (radio frequency) applications group, is pleased to
announce that the trial with ASDA for its high integrity sealing of
Microwaveable Food Trays (CPET) has now successfully proceeded towards actual
use in product at a manufacturing site, through distribution and onto the
supermarket's store shelves.
The shelf life trials, which were conducted at Ferndale Foods on behalf of Asda,
have now concluded. Both microbiological and organoleptic tests produced
encouraging results. This has led to an ASDA product being packaged using Radio
Frequency Technology that will appear on the supermarket's shelves from today
(Tuesday).
Ian Balchin, Chief Executive of Stanelco commented:
'The results of the continuing trials with ASDA remain very encouraging.
Following the recent agreement of a 60-day option period with ASDA concerning
its access to our sealing technology for food retail in the UK and Ireland, we
look forward to progressing the relationship towards a long term commercial
agreement as soon as possible.'
Tony Ruane, Technical Manager, Meal Solutions category at ASDA said:
'This is a first to market for ASDA and a significant milestone in our
partnership with Stanelco. ASDA is delighted with the progress of the trials so
far. The environmental benefits of the technology are immense and we are looking
forward to working with Stanelco to widen the reach of RF packaging in the
coming months to other parts of our business. '

Since Asda is clearly happy with the technology, the remaining discussions will be around commercial terms.
The one year exclusivity sounds restrictive but Stanelco's ability to grow is limited in any case by its weak financial base. A one year deal will set it up nicely for future expansion.

Amities !! d'accord completement !!! Comment vas tu Bos/Eric /Di/Andy/bhunt/driver ? lol ..Each rns sounds more lucrative than the last ! .ln all liklihood but not today this news makes EVO s prediction of 20p appear quite breachable: and as a consequence, quite conservative ,My favourite variable -volume -almost 7 million and yet market inception was but an hour ago. ....Waiting in anticipation for the big players to get thier respective desks at around 10 .....Let the Fun begin . .Bonne chance ! . Almost time to crack open a first growth Chateau des Rothchild or Haut Brion 2002 .But definately time for a quick glass of chateau Latour before work ... . a'bientot , bien amicalment @+ J
