This ones a heck of a specualive investment but it seems that the institutions are willing to stomp up the cash to back it in the long term.
Heres the latest news from Killik stocbrokers on the company..........
MEDICAL MARKETING Joint Venture
We recently highlighted Medical Marketing (MMG) as worthy of attention. The company, in which I have a personal share holding, has this morning announced the formation of a joint venture, Genvax, to develop a novel DNA vaccine platform technology.
Human trials have been underway since 2001 in areas such as Lymphoma and Myeloma but the technology has broad applications in cancer, viral and bacterial infections (hence the term platform). The technology works on boosting the immune system by teaching it to identify hard to recognise cancer proteins as foreign and destroy them. Early results from the 25 patient trial in lymphoma are encouraging and evaluation of the result is expected by March 2005. Successful results should mean big pharmaceutical groups will start to take financial and commercial interests around that time.
This looks to be the first of a series of announcements due from Medical Marketing as it has a range of predominantly cancer trials moving into the clinical stage. (news flow could push the price higher)
The stock has made good progress in recent sessions up to the mid-80p level where the company is valued at just under 40 million. ENDS.
Please DYOR
cheers GF.

Hi All,
Nothing on my grapevine ....
We have one big client who is long, but now trading the ups and downs, rahter than watching them, helping to cause much of the volatility over the last 3-4 weeks I think ....
Cheers,

Yes ,good point mitzy!
Paul you told me to post my email address through your SEO website and you would send me the brokers note but all i get though is updated on SEO.
A rise 2 days running, what is going on with MMG. Don`t hold your breath just yet and keep those bottom draws firmly shut for the time being.
Keep the faith

Mitzy/DB Hi,
I have no idea why it was delayed so long, apart from MMG research has to take second spot to Insingers house client companies, and Insinger have been very busy in that direction lately.
I have asked 'the big man' and he says September, and the Insinger analyst is meeting with MMG soon to get the latest info to put in the note.
As I said before, I will send it to you as soon as I get it :)
Cheers,
PM

Pumben Hi,
I am not allowed to tell you, by law.
I work for a Stockbroker.
If it happens, you will see straight away why I couldn't tell you. It may already have been leaked, looking at the rise last week, but I only see it as a strengthening of MMG's position, not a big boost to the S.P.
Cheers,
PM

Paul,
Many Thanks for the reply.
I'm in for the long run with MMG & any news which is going to strengthen their position will reward us all in the next 12-18 months.
Your views are always informative.

Its good to see some recovery in MMG share price but how long can this be sustained without some positive news flow?
We must be due some news soon on some of the drugs entering a new phase of their trials.
Good to see you posting on here again swseun but are you really adding to your holding, i`m confident in the long term but i`m certainly not adding until things have definitely stabilizes.

swseun - db66 is correct imo.
Use your new holding wisely to reduce your risk overall while maintaining your original holding.
Good luck

DB Hi,
It was nothing exciting, not good or bad really, he was just 'suggesting' that there 'might' be something behind the recent rise, but giving nothing of value to back it up, he just showed he knows nothing more than the majority here do.
He might cause some renewed interest tomorrow, but I think all his subscribers already know his thoughts on MMG, and they are already either in or out.
Cheers,
PM
