Is it a sell, though? At 4.89 - buys and sells were going through at 4.90 and 4.89. Virtually no spread, so was it a buy or sell?

Anyone tell with Level 2?

bestblinds.com - 07 Aug 2006 20:26 - 18556 of 27111

bought 200.000 today, still no sign of them . why ? the mm's think were stupid,i dont take any notice any more, of what they post as sells or buys. i think this is the right time to get back in to this share, personally i have used it to bring down my av; price , now it wont take much to get back in profit.this company is in the right market at the right time. it's just a mater of time...... and time is now on our side ......

aldwickk - 07 Aug 2006 21:23 - 18557 of 27111

How can you say time is on how side when SEO as a cash burn problem and no cash flow in sight.

bestblinds.com - 07 Aug 2006 22:32 - 18558 of 27111

I bought more shares in ttc when they fell on a delayed contract,in june because i felt it was an over reaction , two days later motorola took them over....13p turned into 45p.. i see lot's of good things that could happen to SEO....dont give up ......

website just updated

Stanelco is pleased to announce an update regarding its GreenSeal technology following its initial 12 month exclusivity period with ASDA. Stanelco will continue to work with ASDA as they support our GreenSeal technology as a way to achieve part of ASDAS greater business objective of meeting their obligations around sustainability.
In order to accelerate the roll out of the technology, ASDA have agreed to waive the exclusivity, which will then offer GreenSeal to non exclusive sites.

It's Back!!!!

TheMaster - 08 Aug 2006 12:35 - 18561 of 27111

This seams to be bad news for SEO, now ASDA do not want exclusivity

hewittalan6 - 08 Aug 2006 12:39 - 18562 of 27111

Reading that update, let me postulate a possible scenario;
Asda want greenseal. Asda want exclusivity. Asda pressed their suppliers into changing to greenseal (remember the 200 machine forecast).
Asdas suppliers have pointed out the logistical problems of maintaining machines for Asdas exclusive use, when machines have to be interchangeable for swapping product runs and to allow downtime for maintainence and breakdown.
Asda want to get on with greenseal so much that they have accepted the inevitable and allowed the suppliers to install Greenseal packaging without having to promise that only Asda produce is packaged this way.
Makes sense to me, but I don't know the packaging industry well enough for it to be any more than an educated(?) guess.

Well , that a turn up.
Could be seen as a good or bad thing.
on the one hand, asda have said errrm thanks but not at the moment ...re greenseal.
OR more likely they have realised that in order for the pack houses to implement this technology quickly, efficiently and with a cost benefit to them, it makes sense to allow them to be able to convert machines used by several supermarket chains.

Hopefully , finally SEO will show us the money.
Still happy to hold, but will now sideline cash for a buy if needed as short notice.

TheMaster - 08 Aug 2006 12:40 - 18564 of 27111

This would explain why EK dumped his 1.8m shares earilier this week

hewittalan6 - 08 Aug 2006 12:41 - 18565 of 27111

If EK only had 1.8 million shares, he is not the big time investor we think he is.

tweenie - 08 Aug 2006 12:42 - 18566 of 27111

alan, lets hope its not wishful thinking.

soul traders - 08 Aug 2006 12:42 - 18567 of 27111

If EK took until this week to dump his holding, he's not the smart investor some people think he is.

Al, surely it depends what he paid for them.

TheMaster - 07 Aug 2006 12:41 - 18550 of 18567
Lots of press reports covering the plastic bag environmental problem this weekend, SEO may at last prosper, good time to buy back now at these levels as the up side could be huge.

TheMaster - 08 Aug 2006 12:35 - 18561 of 18567
This seams to be bad news for SEO, now ASDA do not want exclusivity

Make your mind up
LOL

TheMaster - 08 Aug 2006 12:46 - 18569 of 27111

It would have been a good time to buy then, but now after today's news perhaps not, as ASDA have told their suppliers not to convert their machines yet. Where is SEO to get revenue now?

hewittalan6 - 08 Aug 2006 12:48 - 18570 of 27111

ST,
I was thinking of the quantity. Either he got them at their recent low levels which equates to about 90000 or he bought them much higher. Either way he is either not the shrewd investor he makes out or he does not play for the very high stakes he portrays.
Alan

hewittalan6 - 08 Aug 2006 12:50 - 18571 of 27111

One other thought.
Had Asda walked away, then this has a bearing on the sp and would require an RNS. If however it is simply opening it up as a free for all, then no RNS is required until any sort of contract is signed.
No RNS.
Alan

ssanebs - 08 Aug 2006 12:56 - 18572 of 27111

spoke to tony ruane last week and he said trials are onging and asda were keen to adopt GS

hewittalan6 - 08 Aug 2006 12:59 - 18573 of 27111

Just read it again and it makes 2 references to Asda wanting Greenseal. One speaks of working with Asda and the other talks about Asdas future plans involving Greenseal.
Doesn't strike me as Asda walking away.
Strikes me as a positive move.
Alan

greekman - 08 Aug 2006 13:06 - 18574 of 27111

Alan,

Re your take on the Greenseal update. I read it exactly the same as you.
I just hope we are both right.
It's a pity that SEO can't just come out with a plain clearly explained update that takes away all doubt.
