Renesola - want to see huge growth ? Look no further !! (SOLA)

whatuwant - 21 Aug 2006 13:28

Read the latest interims.......just make sure that you are sitting down.

I'm sure the MMs are using the opportunity to free up some more shares before next Q results and triggering tight stops.

cynic - 26 Oct 2006 12:00 - 187 of 3050

for all that, don't think i'll be buying more ..... that really would be just plain greed, or even attempting to catch the falling knife

silvermede - 26 Oct 2006 12:23 - 188 of 3050

Buy on further news?

soul traders - 26 Oct 2006 13:49 - 189 of 3050

I'm thinking of grabbing some more this afternoon and maybe having another pop in a few days if it sinks further.

HARRYCAT - 26 Oct 2006 14:37 - 190 of 3050

Many stocks today have fallen victim to profit taking.
Assuming that the original reasons for buying SOLA are still sound, sub 200p has got to be good value, imo.

lanayel - 26 Oct 2006 15:04 - 191 of 3050

Hello everyone,

A very annoying dip today (could have bought last weeks tranche 10% cheaper !).

The fundamentals remain intact so it is, indeed, an opportunity to buy at very attractive levels but intensely annoying nonetheless.

Ian

cynic - 26 Oct 2006 15:20 - 192 of 3050

now i remember whom i should be blaming ...... certainly wasn't MY fault that i bought at too high a price!

lanayel - 26 Oct 2006 15:23 - 193 of 3050

erm....................

I'll get my coat.

;o)

silvermede - 26 Oct 2006 15:26 - 194 of 3050

Cynic, looking back at the charts for when I bought in (19/10) the only indication of perhaps not being a good move was the RSI which was high.

My lesson is if I do buy, only buy part of intended holding.

Have we seen the bottom today? Any mystic megs out there?

cynic - 26 Oct 2006 15:50 - 195 of 3050

i was only teasing Ian ..... with such a recently floated stock, it is very difficult to make decisions based on sp or rsi or dma ..... shall just stay put and put out a contract on both Ian and soul* if things don't go right within the next month or two!

queen - 26 Oct 2006 16:52 - 196 of 3050

what a day...my b*ll*cks are hurting

soul traders - 26 Oct 2006 20:11 - 197 of 3050

Got in for another chunk at 199p. What's everyone else panicking about?? ;o)

The SP slide is actually my fault - persuaded my Dad to jump in last week, and am now having to persuade him (as well as certain members of present company!) that he'll be thanking me come the end of November.

Cynic, your hitman better be good - one of my aliases is Boris the Bulletdodger, cos apparently it's just impossible to kill me. (with apologies to "Snatch").

cynic - 26 Oct 2006 20:55 - 198 of 3050

soul* ....he don't need no good aim!...... he just let go your wheelchair at top of big hill with lotsa traffic!!

HARRYCAT - 26 Oct 2006 21:17 - 199 of 3050

soult - I am surprised that you in particular couldn't get a better price than that.
I put a limit buy on the system to trigger at 199p. The sp fell so fast that the buy triggered at 194p! But I don't suppose in the grand scheme of things, that 5p is going to make a great deal of difference.
SOLA & VLK both took a bit of an unexpected hit today.

silvermede - 27 Oct 2006 08:49 - 200 of 3050

Just got a quote at 184p

queen - 27 Oct 2006 09:28 - 201 of 3050

wtf is going on...

R88AVE - 27 Oct 2006 09:42 - 202 of 3050

looks very tempting to buy soon!

soul traders - 27 Oct 2006 09:55 - 203 of 3050

Harry, I just watched the prices live using my quote button and bought just off the low, while it still stayed under 200p. Had an inkling it might still go lower, which was why I've kept some of my powder dry.

Cynic: wheeeeee . . . . !!!!!! :o)

soul traders - 27 Oct 2006 11:57 - 204 of 3050

Well, call me greedy, but after the bounce off the 180p level, I fancied a few more and have substantially added to my holding at 194.38p.

silvermede - 30 Oct 2006 17:03 - 205 of 3050

Came across this snippet from Growth Report Newsletter dated 4 Oct 06 as I was clearing out my old e-mails:

'Solar sales received a big boost with Al Gores movie An Inconvenient Truth, a commentary on the dangers of global warming. Helped along by media coverage, rolling blackouts, rising electric costs and more generous rebate programs, the production of electricity-generating solar cells is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world. The industry grew 45% last year, to $11.2 billion, and six-fold over 2000 levels. Estimates are for expansion to a $51.1 billion market by 2015.'
