the size of things for today for me. I'll wish you all a happy evening
and hopefully someone has made some good money today!! :>)

Evening all, just down from the scaffolding, spent most of the day on the flat roof brushing shingle out of the way to try and find some leaks, bloody pain it is to, no leaks found, roof needs replacing really but as we will be selling soon I think I will leave it. Probably put some of the black sticky stuff on it, that will keep it dry for a year or so.
Just popped in for a coffee and some lemon Drizzle if there is any around, wouldnt mind a mince pie but i wait until December for them..
Just been informed that I would like to go late night shopping tonight, strange I had no idea thats what I wanted to do ;-)

Don't worry, Spacey. You go shopping. We will look after Lambykins and make sure he is well fed and spoiled rotten.
Enjoy yourself.....!

You must try my mince pies. It's pure coincidence if they taste a bit like sherry trifle.

LW if we all ate in reality like we do in here I don't think we would hwve any teeth left. We certainly would be quite portly to say the least. So in here have the lot!! Good to see you in the tea room, it is a loss to us all that you are unable to post more often, you were always a font of wisdom in your posts. Would you like a pint of Guiness :-)

Yes GD still got all Me AHT from before this time last year; doing well in the moneyam stockpicker of the year contest and the Investor's Chronic trading game.

I had some wine the other day and it was sort of red, actually it was Chablis with a dose of Vimto in it. Lovely it was. You have to experiment to find what you like.

Thanks, Oh well I better go and have dinner.
By the way, does anyone use skype. I can't go on how wonderful it is! They have really improved it. I complained a while ago, that ringing mobiles throught the internet using skype was dreadful. But they seem to have solved that problem - clear as a normal call!
If anyone wants to find out more go to:
http://www.skype.com/
Its saving me a fortune on calls

Evening all.
By gum, it's nippy out there. Need to stick my toes in the embers whilst I knock back an espresso. Seems quiet here.
lw - visited the skype site. Sounds too good to be true, but intend giving it a go. Cheers.

Have a look at
Call18866. Works on your normal phone, just dial 18866 before calls. All landline UK calls 1p for the call (not 1p/minute), mobiles 12p/minute (3p at weekends), and many foreign destinations including USA 2p/minute :-)
