Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

My question would be, 'Who is paying this scientist'.

At age 11, Ghulam was married off to 40-year-old Jaiz in a rural Afghan village, making her only one of more than 10 million young girls who are being forced to wed men old enough to be their fathers or grandfather every year.
In an effort to start a global conversation about the devastating effects of early marriages, which are currently practiced in more than 50 developing countries, the United Nations designated October 11 as International Day of the Girl Child this year.
To mark the occasion and draw attention to the problem of child brides, photojournalist Stephanie Sinclair teamed up with National Geographic to create a series of heart-braking photos depicting girls as young as five years old being married off to middle-aged men in countries like India, Yemen and Ethiopi
so this is how muslims see young babys makes you feel sick (EDITED MONEYAM)

Tanker,
I married a young girl a lot younger than myself with a wide difference in our ages and so far I haven't had any problems.

Tanker. Whar you are describing has little to do with muslims. The practice of marrying young girls off is cultural problem combined with lack of education. Muslims in more advanced countries would be disgusted by the practice.
By the way you need to edit your last sentence as you could likely end up in trouble with the police if your comments were reported.

Tanker,
Actually she is very intelligent and often tells me that she made the right decision.
That sometimes worries me.
------------
PS.
I am at least
2 years older than her!
But she is maturing nicely.

Tanker,
Listen junior.
Your grandchildren like mine are lucky that they have intelligent grandmothers.
It is obvious that mine think that is so.
So it must be.
But if you want to know what living with 5 mothers is like, you can borrow my 4 daughters.

Congratulations to the EU for receiving the Nobel Peace Prize.
A little more political acumen and a little more fiscal integration is desirable over the coming years.
Also, increased European regulation of the banks.
(Also, a little less enthusiasm by Cameron for risk takers. That is partially what was responsible for the present economic chaos.)
