Evening all, popped back after 5 hours and have 31 posts to read!

oh........ I love mince pies, sherry trifle, lemon drizzle cake. Do you think I may have sweet tooth?

optomistic - 16 Nov 2004 18:56 - 18634 of 23498

LW if we all ate in reality like we do in here I don't think we would hwve any teeth left. We certainly would be quite portly to say the least. So in here have the lot!! Good to see you in the tea room, it is a loss to us all that you are unable to post more often, you were always a font of wisdom in your posts. Would you like a pint of Guiness :-)

Yes GD still got all Me AHT from before this time last year; doing well in the moneyam stockpicker of the year contest and the Investor's Chronic trading game.

Socrates - 16 Nov 2004 19:28 - 18636 of 23498

lw
I think you must have several.

little woman - 16 Nov 2004 19:58 - 18637 of 23498

Thank you, love to...... except for the Guiness. I'll love a glass of red wine, to finish the evening off.

Wisdom, LOL...... Its this working lark... although I'm loving it, it takes up far too much of my time.

optomistic - 16 Nov 2004 20:14 - 18638 of 23498

Just a joke with the Guiness LW, red wine it shall be.

Socrates - 16 Nov 2004 20:20 - 18639 of 23498

I had some wine the other day and it was sort of red, actually it was Chablis with a dose of Vimto in it. Lovely it was. You have to experiment to find what you like.

little woman - 16 Nov 2004 20:23 - 18640 of 23498

Thanks, Oh well I better go and have dinner.

By the way, does anyone use skype. I can't go on how wonderful it is! They have really improved it. I complained a while ago, that ringing mobiles throught the internet using skype was dreadful. But they seem to have solved that problem - clear as a normal call!

If anyone wants to find out more go to: http://www.skype.com/

Its saving me a fortune on calls

Big Al - 16 Nov 2004 21:03 - 18641 of 23498

Evening all.

By gum, it's nippy out there. Need to stick my toes in the embers whilst I knock back an espresso. Seems quiet here.

lw - visited the skype site. Sounds too good to be true, but intend giving it a go. Cheers.

Kayak - 16 Nov 2004 21:08 - 18642 of 23498

Have a look at Call18866. Works on your normal phone, just dial 18866 before calls. All landline UK calls 1p for the call (not 1p/minute), mobiles 12p/minute (3p at weekends), and many foreign destinations including USA 2p/minute :-)

Big Al - 16 Nov 2004 21:12 - 18643 of 23498

Will have a look at that too, Kayak - thx

Golddog - 16 Nov 2004 23:19 - 18644 of 23498

chocolat - 16 Nov 2004 23:33 - 18652 of 23498

Bet you're right, poochie-poo - although these last couple of days would have been a bit draughty, to say the least...had a bit of trouble leaving yesterday.

Cheers, Fundy!
