Stop bloody whinging and relax, Jeffmack. I also told Xanthippe's old man to get some mice from the pet shop a couple of weeks back and consequently he's a happy old bean today.

Socs, you may be right if, you have the advantage of knowing her/it.
I think you may prefer our forecast over here to the UK's.
Its for a very cold next few days and apparently 'a hard rains a gonna fall'.
As I speak we have a lovely log fire going.
Another month and we'll be moving into Spring; have just ordered 4 tickets
to watch SA v West Indies @ Newlands [Cape Town] on New Years Day.
I wonder what the weather will be like then.......
Pretty good day on the market, fair bit of blue, FIB continues to please,
how was your day?

Too hot for tennis - think Me will join Hilary in the pool! Me will float at the side with a nice cold drink while Hilary does her lengths.

Agree about the tennis, T_i_m. I've not played for a week and a half now because of the heat and I feel worse for it. I'm hoping to be able to get back into it soon if it cools a bit.
I've increased the distance I swim each day now to 128 lengths (2 miles) to compensate for the lack of tennis, so feel free to dive in and keep me company.

Oh ye of little faith, I would at least have thought you would know it goes ex-div today. -19.5p on a 30p divi sounds like a good deal to me. I shall watch it for a couple of days and then set myself to buy if all looks set fair. I'm of the opinion that the price will exhibit a Northerly trend whilst investors ponder what SCTN will do with their pubs money.
Hot again today was it not.
Hilary
Mice?
RDW?
Plenty more where they came from. Break out the bubbly.
Once upon a time there were two little bears, now look how many there are!

What's a bear, Socs? Only moo cows round here.
And what's wrong with your mice? Keep feeding them little bits of cheese and they'll grow nicely. Talking of cheese, I fancy some Feta with olives and cucumber to go with my glass of Pinot Grigio.
And Jeffmack ....... Have you filled your boots with Humbugg's telco tiddler yet?
:-)

Jeff,
It's a woman's prerogative to change her mind!! You should've learned that by now ..... how long have you been married? Besides, Moosehead says fillyaboots ...... that's good enough for me.
Socs,
Milton Keynes. Are we talking concrete cows or roundabouts named after Aston Martins?
Back to the footy. Come on you Blues.
