Good morning all, do you like the new doors? They are solid oak and about 4 inches thick. I couldn't get the 6 inch ones but these will do. You can try to kick them open if you like, but I would not advise it without shoes on!
Anyone who is a bit frail may need assistance to open them, they weigh rather a bit. Still, they go with the period decor, don't you think?

Having done a quick getaway at hearing K's last request, Socco rolls up to get the breakfast ready. There is nothing like the aroma of bacon, eggs, tea and coffee to perk up the spirit.
