Oily, re 18670

RNSs were issued on 4/1/05 and 1/8/05 announcing the appointment of Robbins as Chief Operating Officer and Wagner as Commercial Director respectively. Wagner was renamed Chief Executive in a Boardroom reshuffle announced on 28/11/05.

There is, or was a few minutes ago, a full list of RNSs on the SEO website, via the Investor Relations (sic) link. Interesting reading - for those who do not suffer from Hypertension!

Bugz - 09 Aug 2006 13:54 - 18686 of 27111

Well if we're at Xmas with no income from these orders, there is going to have to be another generation of money from the market. And even that makes Xmas a long way away.

hewittalan6 - 09 Aug 2006 13:56 - 18687 of 27111

Not trying to gloss it. Just reporting what is reported to me!!
I'm not happy at all reference timescales, but I am happy because I can see big boys looking at Greenseal, and at last i will be able to nip to Asda and see it on sale!! (soon)
Alan

Tonyrelaxes - 09 Aug 2006 14:20 - 18688 of 27111

Assuming what we were told year(s) ago still stands, and my recall for figures is up to it, each conversion will bring in a one-off up front installation fee of 35k and an annual Royalty of 25k-35k payable quarterly in advance starting immediately.

So if things happen there will be income right from the start with the only costs being the actual conversion.

tweenie - 09 Aug 2006 14:26 - 18689 of 27111

alan, you've certainly put the cat among the pigeons.
might have to force myself to go shopping soon to see the new products.
still happily holding for the long term.

hewittalan6 - 09 Aug 2006 14:34 - 18690 of 27111

I'd wait till next month, Tweenie.
;-)
Alan

tweenie - 09 Aug 2006 14:37 - 18691 of 27111

always happy to put off going shopping

angusrjy - 09 Aug 2006 14:54 - 18692 of 27111

As I remember reading somewhere they charge 35K for each install but the actual profit is only 5K, the remainding 30K I presume is the actual cost of the hardware and the cost of the engineers time. Then the next years royalty I presume is pure profit of around 35K unless this includes maintenance of course?

greekman - 09 Aug 2006 15:02 - 18693 of 27111

Alan,

Any posts such as yours (18678) only cause problems when it does not state unable to substantiate. As you say it's like it or lump it.
I don't doubt you, but obviously I won't mortgage the house to follow it through, (I don't think you would want me to either).
I was going to ask you to put your address in print so we can all call round and buy you a pint if what you have heard is right, but then of course we would all know where you live (as they say in the gangster movies) and would still call round if you were wrong. Only kidding honest.
But seriously, we can all surmise on why the sackings. As said it could be for a multiple of reasons, good bad or indifferent.
The mud gets thicker.

hewittalan6 - 09 Aug 2006 15:06 - 18694 of 27111

Indeed it does.
As for my address, there is more than enough info on here for anyone to find it in about 3 minutes.
Good hunting.
alan

Cantlose - 09 Aug 2006 15:22 - 18695 of 27111

I note from the 2005 Annual Accounts that T.Robins had an option on 8 million Ordinary shares at a price of 4.75p exercisable as from 1/11/2006.

Also does anyone know if G.Whitchurch was a recent casualty as he also has an option on 8 milion Ordinary shares exercisable from 1/9/2006 at 3.5p.

Any guesses as to whether we get an RNS similar to that issued on

"16 May 2006

Additional Listing

The Company will make application to the UK Listing Authority and to the London
Stock Exchange for 200,000 new ordinary shares of 0.1p each ('Ordinary Shares')
to be admitted to the Official list and to trading on the London Stock Exchange
('Admission'). It is expected that Admission will occur on 24 May 2006. The new
Ordinary Shares are being issued pursuant to the exercise of options by a former
employee."

What is going on ?

Does anyone know what happens to the share options ?

Do they lapse on cessation of employment?

oblomov - 09 Aug 2006 15:25 - 18696 of 27111

Are you a horticulturalist or a Genesis fan, Alan (or both)?!

bhunt1910 - 09 Aug 2006 15:27 - 18697 of 27111

When I was made redundant - I could exercise my shares for up to 3.5 years after I left the company.

I would guess that a similar deal will have been struck or it will be part of his severance deal. Either way - he left on good terms as he is still working for them so he wont have been unhappy with the deal.

hewittalan6 - 09 Aug 2006 15:32 - 18698 of 27111

Erm. neither. I am actually a virgo.
and i am wondering what the hell prompted those questions????
One of my business interests is freely available on these revered pages and that is sufficient to track me down.
i would not dare lie cos you could all find me and come round in the small hours to put a bat up my nightie.
Alan

Oilywag - 09 Aug 2006 15:41 - 18699 of 27111

a "nightie", eh? Now you're getting really interesting Alan!!

lol

The oily one

rpaco - 09 Aug 2006 16:13 - 18700 of 27111

Well some of the management finally got a "bat up the nighty" at last, very long overdue if the company is to avoid going down the pan before it generates any decent turnover.

I dont post often on here but still stand by what I said before, the company is suffering from appalling management, the CEO chairman and the MD if not the whole board need replacing. Hopefully by now their lack of basic market research has been overcome by sheer blundering attrition.

We still dont hear how many Greenseal machines are installed and working, (I reckon its still only 1 or 2 on exhaustive test) they must be about 2 years behind schedule. I check each time I go in my local ASDA to see if a miracle has happened in the fresh food packing or Indian/Chinese/Thai take away area.

Their last RNS claimed income from Starpol in the USA is this money staying in the States or could it be used to lessen the next call on us? How is the accounting split between the UK and USA?

TheMaster - 09 Aug 2006 16:24 - 18701 of 27111

Should SEO be keeping the Starpol income in their USA bank account then this means if the UK operations are wound up (due to the cash burn for geenseal & no orders) then they avoid losing all the companies money. They could then trade under the USA company from there on without risk of any UK creditiors knocking, make good business sense if things are f@@ked up here in the UK. This would tie up with eariler post that the directors have returning back from the states this week.

tweenie - 09 Aug 2006 18:06 - 18702 of 27111

the directors along with other staff , have for some time been doubling as sales /marketing staff. e-mail them.
seo are short of experience in these dept's ---duh!!!
Hopefully now R&D is over , more resources will be funnelled in this direction.
RESULTING IN SALES!!!!!!
well happy to wait.
At least for once s/p moved upwards.
dare I say , book a seat at the 0.10p party.
LOL

oblomov - 09 Aug 2006 19:01 - 18703 of 27111

It'll have to reach more than that before I feel like partying, Tweenie! lol

Make that the 16p party, and even then I wont have much to celebrate.

cynic - 09 Aug 2006 19:06 - 18704 of 27111

forgive me for asking, but if the news about which you are all going on about is so good, why did the pirce barely move and volume remain (i think) very muted?
