Ruff Ruff

Just looking in to check over the valuation of the Tea Rooms

Have been spending a lot of time with REO in the last few months......

Olddog ( aka Trixiebelle )

Socrates - 12 Aug 2003 19:54 - 1872 of 23498

Oh I must say, Trixibelle is much preferable to Olddog.

little willie - 12 Aug 2003 20:08 - 1873 of 23498

Socs, you may be right if, you have the advantage of knowing her/it.
I think you may prefer our forecast over here to the UK's.
Its for a very cold next few days and apparently 'a hard rains a gonna fall'.
As I speak we have a lovely log fire going.
Another month and we'll be moving into Spring; have just ordered 4 tickets
to watch SA v West Indies @ Newlands [Cape Town] on New Years Day.
I wonder what the weather will be like then.......
Pretty good day on the market, fair bit of blue, FIB continues to please,
how was your day?

This_is_me - 12 Aug 2003 20:36 - 1874 of 23498

Too hot for tennis - think Me will join Hilary in the pool! Me will float at the side with a nice cold drink while Hilary does her lengths.

hilary - 13 Aug 2003 07:43 - 1875 of 23498

Agree about the tennis, T_i_m. I've not played for a week and a half now because of the heat and I feel worse for it. I'm hoping to be able to get back into it soon if it cools a bit.

I've increased the distance I swim each day now to 128 lengths (2 miles) to compensate for the lack of tennis, so feel free to dive in and keep me company.

jeffmack - 13 Aug 2003 16:04 - 1876 of 23498

Socs
Glad to see you gave SCTN the kiss of death.

Socrates - 13 Aug 2003 17:46 - 1877 of 23498

Jeff
Oh ye of little faith, I would at least have thought you would know it goes ex-div today. -19.5p on a 30p divi sounds like a good deal to me. I shall watch it for a couple of days and then set myself to buy if all looks set fair. I'm of the opinion that the price will exhibit a Northerly trend whilst investors ponder what SCTN will do with their pubs money.

Hot again today was it not.

Hilary
Mice?
RDW?

Plenty more where they came from. Break out the bubbly.

Once upon a time there were two little bears, now look how many there are!

hilary - 13 Aug 2003 17:55 - 1878 of 23498

What's a bear, Socs? Only moo cows round here.

And what's wrong with your mice? Keep feeding them little bits of cheese and they'll grow nicely. Talking of cheese, I fancy some Feta with olives and cucumber to go with my glass of Pinot Grigio.

And Jeffmack ....... Have you filled your boots with Humbugg's telco tiddler yet?

:-)

jeffmack - 13 Aug 2003 19:01 - 1879 of 23498

hilary
you were calling them all sorts after results, whats changed?

Socrates - 13 Aug 2003 20:01 - 1880 of 23498

Hilary
Milton Keynes?

hilary - 13 Aug 2003 20:09 - 1881 of 23498

Jeff,

It's a woman's prerogative to change her mind!! You should've learned that by now ..... how long have you been married? Besides, Moosehead says fillyaboots ...... that's good enough for me.

Socs,

Milton Keynes. Are we talking concrete cows or roundabouts named after Aston Martins?

Back to the footy. Come on you Blues.

jeffmack - 13 Aug 2003 20:09 - 1882 of 23498

Socs
Interesting story, bet its got the bulls mooing over on ADVFN

Socrates - 13 Aug 2003 21:06 - 1883 of 23498

Jeff
I've not mentioned it. Bound to raise a few hackles if I did.

Socrates - 14 Aug 2003 19:34 - 1888 of 23498

Hilary
My apologies, left off my salutations of my e-mail.

Bars open!

jeffmack - 14 Aug 2003 19:49 - 1889 of 23498

Evening Socs, and a fine one it is too

hilary - 14 Aug 2003 20:58 - 1890 of 23498

Hello Socs,

Don't worry ...... I'm used to people being rude to me. Jeffmack is rude to me all of the time.

:-)

In answer to your question, it came up on my list at the beginning of July when it was at 5.75. I expect it will come up again very soon, but to do so it will need an upwards move first.
