An app offering real-time translations is to allow people in Japan to speak to foreigners over the phone with both parties using their native tongue.

Leaflets about next month's elections for police and crime commissioners are being sent to 21 million households.

I'm not actually sure of the current situation, but I thought smoking was still allowed in palaces.

A Nottinghamshire MP is to call for an inquiry into alleged manipulation of evidence by South Yorkshire Police during the miners' strike.

John Mann, Labour MP for Bassetlaw, said claims made in a BBC Inside Out programme relating to the so-called Battle of Orgreave must be examined.
