It looks for all the world like a sell. But someone did say earlier the MM's appeared determined to keep the sp under 5p, so perhaps it was a buy that wasn't reported till it had all gone through.
So the answer is................I'm clueless.

I see this as good news to SEO holders. Before long we should have news of other suppliers wanting to lead the way forward with greenseal.
I am not sure if the 3.8mil was a buy or a sell. We have to wait and see tomorrow.

To me the 3.85m sell off after hours explains why the price didn't increase dramatically.

Almost 50% of 8mill share options I mentioned the other day.

Interesting to see if similar activity takes place over the next few days followed by an RNS along the lines of "We have issued stock in pursuance of an ex-employee...."

By the way I am long on this share but just concerned about the lack of clarity wrt to information flow.

I think that someone like Elisabeth Filkin who is a Non Exec should earn her crust & ensure that there is transparency in company communications.

She is also a Non Exec for Jarvis Plc - check what happened to the SP (of that co.) since she attained that role !

I have deliberately ignored ADVFN site until just now, someone commented yesterday about T. Robins but the continuation of the poster's comment is interesting:

"a new imterim sales director and project director had been appointed"

Looks like a re-focus for yet another phase in SEO's development.

Probably needed to dismiss quite a few lowly paid employees to pay for two new directors!

What would be really usefull right now is another broker report by T&G or someone. Just to throw a bit of independent light on what is happening on the good ship SEO.
I feel happier today with them than i have for many a long month, but I still have a nagging feeling that there is a huge part of the jigsaw just tantalisingly out of reach.
Don't know whether it is a good or bad part, but you know the feeling. There is something I feel I have missed, and it is something obvious. I just can't work it out. Perhaps its just a touch of SEO paranoia.

A contract extension with supermarket giant Asda, helped lift the shares of Stanelco rise 0.225p to 5.175p. The group said its agreement to supply its Greenseal food packaging technology to Wal-Mart's UK supermarket unit had been extended for another year, but is now no longer exclusive to ASDA suppliers. Up until this contract extension, a significant hurdle for the business had been identifying packing lines that were exclusively for ASDA usage. By removing this obstacle Stanleco can now effectively offer its GreenSeal technology to any user.

I'd expect so, similarly I'd expect the loss of one also to warrant an RNS. As someone also commented, if us poor PI's wanted to be better informed perhaps we should become journalists.

Its interesting that the sequencing of news is a tad awry: Extension of ASDA contract published on website days before RNS....

Was I the only one unaware of the difference between Starpol 2000 and Starpol 3000?
Just in case anyone out there is as dense as I, 2000 was not available as a clear plastic, only coloured in your choice. I can spot the problem right there for food retailers who want you to see just how green and fresh their produce is.
3000 is available in a clear format. Big improvement.
I wonder how much of the delay was caused by the end product being unsuitable for Asda shelves because the contents would be invisible.
Just a thought.

what happened to the earlier RNS whereas SEO mentioned that as soon as one machine is in place then the exclusivity rights will be waived.

My info is that a machine is, as we speak, swinging into full production and its wares will be available at Asda stores within a very few weeks. That is why the exclusivity is over.
This info is as I posted the other day, and if it is right, then the company using it supply just about anyone you care to mention, through their parent companies. I am also informed that any following orders will be based on feedback from stores and customers.
Cannot verify it, but there you go.

Starpol 3000 was bought out for the sole reason (as far as I can discover) of clarity of container product. There is still a market for Starpol 2000, where the clarity is not important such as coffee, rice, packet soups where the whole packet is added to boiling water with no waste or spillage. Also low cost Starpol biodegradable materials can be used in a range of air pillows used as packaging to fill voids. It would make sense to use Starpol 2000, for these applications if it is cheaper than Starpol 3000, but unfortunately I am unable to discover this fact.
Anyone assist.

Sorry Pad, but if i put that info on here i may well be in a lot of trouble with my source.
I am desperately trying to think of a way to let you know without compromising the source, but I am struggling.
